Holidays to Corinth mix time on the sand with shopping and clubbing in St Lucia's full-of-life capital.
Chilled-out town
You’ll find the dinky town of Corinth halfway between Castries and Rodney Bay, on St Lucia’s northwest coast. The atmosphere's a little different to its lively neighbours, though – it’s all about taking it easy here, and pretty much everything's focused on the shoreline. Smart hotels are spread out along the waterfront, and the beaches are split into bite-sized coves.
Beach life
Beach-wise, the attention-grabbing stretch in these parts is at nearby Choc Bay. It’s a back-to-basics place, with nothing interrupting the sands, bar a few paddleboards stacked up for hire and a volleyball net. Palm trees provide the shade, and it’s not uncommon to get the whole beach to yourself. Turn your attention north, and you can reach the ice-white sands of Rodney Bay in 15 minutes by car.
