Family holidays to Alcudia
That your whole gang won't be able stop talking about, family holidays to Alcudia hit the mark every time.
Alcudia is a perennial family favourite. It could be because of the supersized sandy beach. Or maybe it’s because of the sweep of hotels, restaurants and cafés. The Medieval old town is a bit of a charmer, too. Whatever the reason, families have been making a beeline to this Majorcan beach resort for decades. Here’s why you should think about booking a holiday here too…
Why you should visit Alcudia
Waterparks and watersports
Alcudia is home to Hidropark — a waterpark with a rainbow of slides and pools. Stay at the Hotel Saturno, and you get free entry. For something with a bit more oomph, try Aqualand. It’s the biggest waterpark in Majorca, so expect a kamikaze slide, lazy river and huge wave pool. If beach watersports are more your cuppa, head back to Alcudia and its kitesurfing and paragliding schools.
Big days out
There’s loads for families to get their teeth stuck in to around Alcudia. Sunset Ranch offers wagon rides and barbecue dinners. And Katmandu theme park stacks up virtual reality rides, splash parks and arcade games. Island capital Palma is another first-class outing for families, thanks to its aquarium and boat trips.
