Family holidays to Barbados
Travelling with the kids in tow? Take a look at our range of family holidays to Barbados.
Barbados holds the award for being the most family-friendly island in the Caribbean. Why? For starters, there’s loads to do. Jeeps tour the island, pirate boats shove off from Bridgetown, and the beaches have plenty of facilities. But it’s the All Inclusive hotels that make it a cut above. They deliver everything from baby equipment and please-all buffet restaurants straight to your door.
Why you should visit Barbados
Four and five-star hotels are the norm in Barbados, which means you get tons of in-house facilities. Take the Sea Breeze Beach Hotel — it’s got a kids’ club and beachside pool. And the Turtle Beach Resort is in family-friendly St Lawrence. There’s a choice beaches here, including super shallow Little Bay.
Families really rate the island jeep tours. You’ll see it all — ruined plantations, sugar cane fields, rum distilleries, the dramatic Atlantic coast, and pretty pastel-painted villages. Historic Bridgetown is another must-see. Do a circle of the Savannah Garrison race course, and you’ll bump in to a few museums — including one with a garden full of monkeys.
