Check out the Funchal Municipal Museum
This place is packed with creatures from all over the Madeira archipelago. All sorts of stuffed animals fill the museum cabinets, such as sharks, crabs and native birds. What’s more, you can check out some live specimens in the aquarium. Get close-ups of the eels, flounders and multi-coloured fish.
