About Bavaro
If you love beaches, get ready to fall head-over-heels for the island's east coast. White, powdery sands stretch for miles and there's also a great list of watersports, as well as postcard-tropical scenery. It makes staying in Punta Cana the ultimate unwind. It’s right at the end of the Coconut Coast so, as the name suggests, you can expect palm-fringed beaches and a small smattering of shops. Mind you, the sheltered sands make it a top spot for families, too. And when you’re not in the sleepy swing of things, sports like tennis, snorkelling and deep sea fishing are all on the menu.
