Hippy Market Madness
It started in the 60s and just keeps getting better. A colourful experience for the whole family, you can find gifts and souvenirs including beads, bangles, leather and lace, with bargains from around the globe.

Castaway Cruise
Giving you the chance to soak up the sun and kids a real finding Nemo experience, you'll cruise in a catamaran with a glass bottom, see famous beaches and the mysterious Es Vedra and enjoy a barbecue buffet, with free beer and soft drinks during the afternoon.

Paradise Lost
Set sail for a day on board a luxurious catamaran, with lunch and drinks included. From Ibiza Town, you'll pass the white sands of Formentera, then cruise through the turquoise Mediterranean until you drop anchor to try snorkelling and jet-skiing.

Food and drink

Whether you’re looking for traditional Spanish tapas, inviting seafood restaurants or fast-food joints, you’ll find it all on your Ibiza holiday.

In Ibiza Town’s port and old town, there’s a wonderful selection of restaurants, where you can dine on the waterfront or inside in romantic surroundings. Or alternatively, join the jet set along San Antonio’s ‘sunset strip’ where Café Savannah offers a good choice of dishes.

Try fresh seafood like Burrida de Ratjada, made with skate and almonds and fish stew, commonly made from red snapper, and Ibizan paella, with a bottle of local wine from Sa Cova.

Evening Flavour

A clubber’s paradise, celebrated DJs, such as Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim and Pete Tong, flock to this tiny island’s world-famous clubs, including Amnesia, Space, Es Paradis and Privilege, home to the massive Manumission nights.

You can chill out in San Antonio’s sunset cafes or enjoy the real sunset in traditional restaurants, ideal for quieter tastes and romantic moments. Or, if you’re holidaying in Ibiza Town, the Sa Penya area around the port has a great choice of funky bars, perfect for people-watching.

Shopping

If you’re into designer clothes, head to Ibiza Town to browse its trendy boutiques, and enjoy some night-time retail therapy wandering along the port’s colourful stalls. San Antonio and Santa Eulalia also have a good choice of clothes and souvenir shops.

For mementos from your holiday in Ibiza, you can take home Lladro porcelain, leather goods, perfume, wine and spirits for really reasonable prices.

For an unforgettable shopping experience, spend the day at the hippy markets of Es Cana and San Carlos for handmade clothes and jewellery.

May: Eivissa Medieval is a festival celebrating D’Alt Vila being made a World Heritage site, with concerts and dancing in the old walled town’s beautiful surroundings.

For the Family

• Older children will love Playa d’en Bossa’s waterpark Aguamar, where there’s a good choice of big slides, large pool and smaller paddling pools
• The whole family can enjoy a day at Agualandia’s little waterpark, with a four lane slide, twisty slide, large pool, restaurants and a shaded picnic area
• When you’re not playing on the beach, Playa d’en Bossa has a superb playground with trampolines, climbing frames, merry-go-rounds and bouncy castles
• You can all enjoy climbing the cobbled streets at Ibiza’s old town, with a drawbridge at the main entrance and battlements to look through with great views across the bay
