When you fancy staying put, pick a spot by the lagoon-like pool. It’s bordered by a large terrace, where loungers, parasols and shrubs line up. There’s a bar at one end, too, which serves up a good range of drinks and snacks. If you prefer things a bit quieter, head through the gardens and you’ll come to a smaller pool right by the beach. It’s tucked between lawns and palms, giving it a really secluded feel.
Elsewhere, the tropical vibe is carried through to the hotel’s restaurant. Think wood-beamed ceilings, stone floors and glassless windows that bring the outside in. In terms of food, you’ll find big buffets with plenty of choice. At lunch and dinner, trademark Spanish dishes such as paella sit alongside home favourites like pizza. And in the mornings, you can choose from the likes of pastries, omelettes and fresh fruit.
The bedrooms here, meanwhile, are smart and spacious. Shades of white and peach adorn the walls, and huge balcony doors showcase views of the gardens, the mountains or the sea. Each room comes with air-conditioning and a satellite TV, too.

Playa d’en Bossa’s got a lot going on. First up, it’s got the longest beach on Ibiza – measuring in at a whopping two-and-a-half kilometres. Better yet, the sands are a real hit with families, thanks not only to their cleanliness, but also the huge choice of watersports. Elsewhere, you’re looking at a decent range of shops, as well as plenty of cafés, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.
