Laze on the beach or kick your heels up to live reggae music, the Severin Sea Lodge is all about letting your hair down and finding the chilled you. Only twelve kilometres from Mombasa, this retreat has a very laid back vibe. Soak it all up by the two pools or in one of the lodge’s three bars. Standard rooms are in the main building and sleep up to 3 with double bed or twin beds, air-conditioning, telephone, piped music, hairdryer, free safety deposit box, mosquito net. Interconnecting rooms available and must be booked as a pair.
Karibu bungalows available at a supplement - facilities as for rooms in main building and include a fridge.
Larger Comfort Class superior rooms available, located in garden bungalows with traditional "lamu" carved furniture, additional ceiling fan, bath, tea/coffee-making facilities and fridge - may contain double bed or double and single bed.
Recently renovated Comfort Class rooms in the main building are also available.

For fun and activity, Bamburi is a brilliant choice: hotels line the white sandy beach, where you'll find all the usual watersports, and there's a mini-mall and a selection of restaurants and bars. Bamburi's small nature reserve lets you experience Africa's amazing wildlife, or you can visit the famous hippo and tortoise, Owen and Mzee, at Haller Wildlife Park.
