It’s the setting that makes this hotel so popular - everything is on its doorstep. For starters, it’s just a minute or so from Las Cucharas beach, while the shops, bars and restaurants of Costa Teguise are even closer.
The hotel itself has a bit of a community feel. A curve of whitewashed houses focuses in on a central zone. At the heart lies two fish-shaped pools, a bar for cocktails and snacks, and a curvy terrace dotted with sunbeds, parasols and palms.
In terms of activities, things are split equally between kids and adults. For the youngsters there’s a hotel-run children’s club, as well as a mini disco, a paddling pool and a playground. The adult side of things, meanwhile, usually kicks off in the evenings, with live shows and dancing on the menu.
Elsewhere there’s the accommodation, a mix of studios and apartments. Design-wise, they both look pretty similar, with banana-yellow walls and pale tiled floors. Extras include satellite TVs and a balcony or terrace. However, apartments have the added bonus of kitchenettes, so if it’s a DIY-style holiday you’re after, plump for one of these.
Rounding things off, is the restaurant. It’s a straight-forward help-yourself set-up in bright and airy surroundings. In terms of the menu, expect home favourites like roasts as well as local dishes on themed nights.
