A hotspot for holidaymakers and celebrities, the island of Majorca is drenched in Mediterranean sunshine. Mixing up golden sandy beaches, fun family resorts, historic towns and quiet little villages, this Balearic beauty gives you everything you want from a holiday.
The biggest of the Balearics, Majorca is a beautiful green island, surrounded by the warm Mediterranean Sea.
Let a floating orchestra serenade you in the depths of the spectacular Caves of Drach, as musicians in light-strewn boats glide across the underground lake.
Majorca is blessed with beaches, and if you look away from the main resorts you may find some less crowded shores, like at Playa Trenc and Cala San Vicente
If you’re just looking for gorgeous water, soft sandy beaches and somewhere to soak up the sun, there’s plenty of choice. The best beaches are in Palma Nova, Magaluf, Alcudia and Cala d’Or.
You’ll be able to test out watersports, sip drinks and have a bite to eat in the nearby bars and restaurants and enjoy the calm water on the main resorts’ beaches while on holiday in Majorca.
Here's a little taste of what's on offer: for more excursion ideas, speak to your Rep. Excursions may change, depending on season, availability and demand.

Inca Market
Barter for your holiday bargains at the inca market, where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of this popular weekly event or simply soak up the atmosphere at a pavement cafe.
Mountain Express
For an unforgettable step back in time, climb aboard this traditional tram from Palma to Sôller, one of Majorca's most charming villages. You'll enjoy a journey up into the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, passing through orange and lemon groves and stunning scenery.
Like the residents of other Mediterranean islands, Majorcans tend to eat a lot of fish and seafood. Other popular dishes include Sobrasada, a pork based sausage; tapas, paella and salads.
There are restaurants serving traditional Spanish foods in the big resorts, like Palma Nova, but there are a lot more international places, serving all your favourites from Chinese to Italian.
Good nightlife can be found easily around Palma but, if you really want to party like it’s 1999, there’s really only one place and that’s Magaluf. This resort and Palma Nova, which is right next to it, is where all the serious party antics happen, with loads of bars and clubs. Elsewhere in Majorca, the nightlife is much more low-key with bars and family entertainment.
One of the most popular shows in Magaluf is Pirates’ Adventure, a famous show, where you can eat, drink and watch the pirates perform acrobatics, gymnastics and dancing. If you’re brave enough, check out Pirates Uncut, which is the adults’ version of the show; shiver me timbers.
Palma has some fantastic shops selling designer brands, as well as boutique shops selling exclusive clothing. Porto Pi is a large shopping mall on the west side of Palma and also sells all the big names.
Outside of Palma, Festival Park is a big factory outlet selling most things at cut prices. In Inca, there’s a market every week selling lots of products, especially leather. If you’re after ceramics and pottery, head to Marratxi, the heart of Majorca’s pottery industry.
