Officially known as North Maalhosmadulhu Atoll, Raa has 16 inhabited islands, with its capital island Ugoofaaru famous for its fishing industry. Another traditional heritage here is dhoni building, and you'll find a boat-building yard on the island of Alifushi. Keen divers will love the thilas and reefs in the Moresby Channel.
