About Kalamaki
For a more relaxed base near the upbeat resort of Laganas, Kalamaki is just the spot. You'll have plenty of low-key bars and restaurants to enjoy in the evening, but the non-stop party atmosphere is still within walking distance. A great place to unwind, the sandy beach is sometimes home to the famous loggerhead turtles, who lay their eggs along the shoreline.
