    Clue: Talc-white beaches, turquoise water and dolphins…

    It’s got to be the Caribbean, right? Wrong. It’s actually the Shetland Isles in Scotland. Yep, we thought this one would throw you. Few people know that Scotland’s actually got over 800 islands up its tartan sleeve, and its shores are decorated with wildlife. Spot dolphins and seals dancing in the water, or pitch up on the beach and get comfy for its famous dramatic sunsets. You’ll soon see why the readers of Rough Guides voted Scotland as the world’s most beautiful country, too…

    Clue: It’s always spinach for dinner here

    Theme park lovers, we hope you got this one. You’ll find Popeye Village, aka the original film set, in Malta. Tear down rollercoasters, pose for pictures with Olive Oil, or explore the nearby waterfalls by boat. And, after you’ve topped up on nostalgia, why not explore the rest of small-but-mighty Malta? It’s a got tonnes of UNESCO sites on offer, and its Baroque capital, Valletta, has bagged the crown for the European Capital of Culture in 2018.

    Clue: The name of this country translates to ‘Black Mountains’

    While it’s got a look of Costa Rica about it, this photo is actually snapped in one of the most beautiful places in Europe – Montenegro. Savvy travellers have been going here for a while now, and it’s no surprise. The Balkan gem offers it all. Mountains. Glacial lakes. Forests. Beaches… yup, we could go on forever. And, the best news of all? We’ve got a brand-new Holiday Village opening here for summer 2018.

    Clue: This place is sure to delight

    Thanks to the snow and ice, you’d be forgiven for guessing Iceland, Lapland, or even the salt flats in Bolivia for this one. But, the natural beauty is actually called Cotton Castle, and it’s close to Antalya in Turkey. Once you’ve stopped gawping at the incredible landscape, dip your toes into icy waterfalls and warm up in the hot springs. Don’t forget to try out the thermal spas, too and, for the best views, head here at sunset.

    Clue: It’s usually known for its islands…

    Fancy being dazzled by a natural phenomenon? Head to the Vietnam and watch the ocean transform into a field of glowing stars as bioluminescent plankton light up the ocean with a blue-green hue at night. You won’t get bored in the day here, either. There are over 2,000 islands to visit, and each offers up some of the best scuba diving spots in the world. Now, where did we put our flippers…

    So, how did you do? If you bagged an A*, reward yourself with a great deal to the Maldives or Turkey. Still need work? The only way you’re going to improve is by travelling, so why not visit Malta or Montenegro? It’s all in the name of research, after all…
