  • Thinking of booking an All Inclusive holiday, but want to check if it really is as good value for money as people say? We’re here to give you the lowdown on what’s actually included on a First Choice holiday…

With a First Choice holiday, your flights, transfers, hotels, food, drink and activities are included in the fixed price you pay for your holiday. It means you don’t have to worry about budgeting your spending money or digging deep for change for another ice-cream every 5 minutes. In fact, going All Inclusive can often be kinder on your wallet –find out how much you could save with our All Inclusive calculator.

What drinks are included with an All Inclusive holiday?

Most of our All Inclusive holidays include beer, wine, soft drinks and local spirits as standard. But what you get varies by hotel, so you should always check what’s on offer before you go. For example, our Premier resorts give you a slice of luxury, with drinks being served by poolside butlers, and some rooms including spirit optics.  Many of our hotels even include fancy cocktails, like the Club Barbados Resort and Spa in Barbados which has their own signature cocktail, the Green Monkey.

What food is included in an All Inclusive holiday?

At every First Choice hotel you’ll be able to let loose at a buffet or two for your three meals a day. Some hotels have à la carte restaurants included, like Premier’s Olympic Lagoon Paphos’, which is themed like an American diner. Others have special extras like beach barbecues or late-night crepes, available at Akti Beach Club. SuneoClub offers home-from-home comfort foods with signature WorldCuisine, which is a mix of buffet dishes and live cooking stations, while TUI Magic Life has a 24 hours All Inclusive package, so you can grab some food and drink no matter what time it is.

What activities are included in an All Inclusive holiday?

You’ll find daytime activities like tennis and aqua-aerobics are available at most of our hotels, but we also include things that break away from the norm –  from high rope adventures and pool assault courses at our Holiday Villages resorts to unlimited access to every waterslide imaginable at first-rate waterparks at Splashworld. If you’re seriously into your sport, then TUI Magic Life steps it up a notch with things like mountain biking and archery on the agenda, all led by qualified professionals.

And the fun doesn’t stop come evening.  Bingo, quizzes, karaoke and live music are a given at most of our resorts, with some hotels adding a few little extras – like TUI Magic Life Rhodes Plimmiri by Atlantica which hosts activities especially for kids and teens, and has its own nightclub. Holiday Villages have their own celebs, The Widgets, who perform in live shows. You’ll also be able to grab them for photos during their meet and greets around the hotel.

You can find out more what we offer, as well as All Inclusive holiday deals, over on our First Choice website. And take a look at our brand new First Choice advert, giving you a taste of what you can get on one of our holidays, below.

Looking to book holiday this month have you any offers coming up if we book also trying to book online how do you select the option on booking page to request late checkout room

    •' Johanna Thomas Jan 2, 2017

Hi Karen, We have a promotion at present that will offer £100 off a summer 2017 departure. Please visit the website for further details and terms and conditions in relation to this offer. Not all the hotels we use will allow us to pre book late check out rooms. If one is available at your chosen hotel, you can add this to your package on the room and board page of the booking process. If one isn’t shown then this would have to be arranged with the hotel directly ^Jo

I have booked and paid for a Premier First Choice holiday to Fuerteventura for four people, but was surprised to find when selecting the flight seats I was charged £9.50 per person, is this correct? I thought this was included in a Premier holiday.

    •' Samantha Lyons Jan 13, 2017

Hi Brian, The cost of Select Your Seat in only included when you book one of our A La Carte holidays. You’ll be able to prebook your seats 90 days before your return flight by logging in to ^Sam

I have booked an all inclusive holiday and we travel in the next month. We probably won’t arrive at the hotel until around 8pm. At what time will the all inclusive commence and would the restaurant(s) still be open for obtaining an evening meal that night?

We are staying at a hv in Ibiza and our twins were v excited to be going to the chocolate party which was advertised for the last few days costing €5 and at 2pm today it was still €5 but when we took them to kids club tonight it’s now magically gone up to €6, I’mi not bothered about €2 BUT myself and other parents agreed that it’s discusting that they can suddenly decide to change the price ( I have called trading standards and they have said that by law you can’t change the cost at the very last minute)
We have been coming to holiday villages for the last four years and were planning to come next year with friends which would be a party of 8 we have always had an amazing time my twins love it. We have also been v v v v v put off at this hv how smoking is allowed everywhere so when you are sat by the pool you and your children are getting lung fulls of smoke ( both children are asthmatic) we have never had this problem at any other hv!
We are complaining tomorrow regarding our room not been cleaned in the last four days just beds made( no change of sheets or pillow cases even though my one son has had a nose bleed all over it, the floor has also not been cleaned I did it myself this morning as ants are everywhere from
NO CLEANING,the food here has been about a 7/10 it’s fine if you don’t mind cold/Luke warm food there is very few choices of deserts which is very unusual for a hv also the food is very repetitive which is also v unusual compared to other hv’s in Menorca & Majorca.
The hotel staff are amazing so are the reps but right now I’m reconsidering taking our friend to a HV next year because of just the few problems I’ve listed and believe me there are many many many more at this moment in time and it is making me re think taking our friends to this holiday village as I don’t feel right now it’s no where near worth the money we have paid which upsets me as like I’ve said all hv’s up until now have been heaven!
I look forward to hearing back from you regarding the numeroproblems at seaview Ibiza hv and your feelings on booking for a family of 8 after the massive disappoint here
    Yours sincerely
    Emma Gale

Iu forward to hearing your responses to assist

Hi Emma, I’m sorry to hear this. As you are currently in Resort, you’d need to raise your concerns with the First Choice Rep or hotelier so they can aim to resolve these for you ^Charlotte
