The star of the show is Tides beach bar, where you can dine on the beachside looking out across the ocean. It’s a traditionally Mauritian place, with fresh seafood and sushi on the menu.
The buffet at Mon Plaisir is open for breakfast and dinner. And, you can choose from a selection of Mauritian and international food. At Citronella’s, it’s all about Italian fare and wood-fired pizzas.

You'll also find a bar here offering a selection of drinks all day. The dress code in the evening is trousers and a shirt with a collar for gentlemen. Just so you know, some menu items are not part of the All Inclusive package.

This traditional Mauritian restaurant is on the beach at La Pirogue hotel found next door. When you stay at Sugar Beach Resort and Spa, you're welcome to have lunch and dinner here with some items on the menu being part of the All Inclusive package.

A la carte dining is available at the Buddha beach restaurant, Citronella's café and Paul and Virginie restaurant. Just so you know, only selected dishes are part of the All Inclusive menu.

For a real foodie experience then Buddha-Bar Beach is the go-to place. Its menu combines Mediterranean and Asian dishes, for example, sushi rolls, Ama-miso Black Cod, and Rib-Eye Steak. The atmosphere is relaxed yet festive, while resident DJ's play under the sun and stars.
HEALTH & BEAUTY
In the Aura Spa* you can opt for treatments, like chocolate body wraps and black soap scrubs, or just go for a soak in the hammam pool. There’s also a hair and beauty salon*.
Keep your fitness regime up with a Tae Bo, Zumba or pilates* class. There are al fresco yoga sessions, too. You’ve also got a fully-equipped gym at your fingertips.

You'll be handed a pareo, or cloth wrap, to wear when you enter. Take a shower, sit in the hot room, sink into the heated pool and relax before heading in for your chosen treatment.

Tides beach bar throws a mean party after the sun goes down, with a mix of live music, shows, a DJ and a dancefloor. Head to the sports bar, and you’ll find another DJ, as well as big screens showing all the major games.
For a more chilled-out affair, French-themed La Brasserie is a great place to relax over an evening tipple. Elsewhere, Citronella’s bar has an outdoor terrace for al fresco drinks.

The hotel-run club is for 2 to 11 year-olds. There's also a teens' club. It's full of fun activities such as golf, tennis and educational excursions, which all take place under the supervision of the friendly team.

Taking place at the beach bar, where you'll also find a dance floor and the Sugar Beach resident DJ in the evenings.
- Evening activities
The Sun Kids' Club organises a whole host of themed evenings for the children, with a choice of buffets and barbecues.

Teenagers can get involved in a variety of activities such as camp fires, barbecues, disco and pizza evenings at the Italian restaurant.
The 2,000-square-metre curvy pool is the big kahuna here, AND there’s a second smaller pool nearby that leads straight to the beach. Both are bordered by tropical banyan trees, daybeds and sunloungers.
In the kids’ club garden, you’ll find the children’s pool.
