FOOD & DRINK
The star of the show is Tides beach bar, where you can dine on the beachside looking out across the ocean. It’s a traditionally Mauritian place, with fresh seafood and sushi on the menu.
The buffet at Mon Plaisir is open for breakfast and dinner. Citronella's deals in Italian dishes, and you can pick from a bunch of eateries at this place's sister hotel, La Pirogue.

There are three restaurants and two bars at Sugar Beach's sister resort, La Pirogue, which you can use as part of your All Inclusive package. In the Aura Spa* you can opt for treatments, like chocolate body wraps and black soap scrubs, or just go for a soak in the hammam pool. There’s also a hair and beauty salon*.

Tides beach bar throws a mean party after the sun goes down, with a mix of live music, shows, a DJ and a dancefloor. Head to the sports bar, and you’ll find another DJ. For a more chilled-out affair, check out French-themed La Brasserie or Citronella.
Younger guests will have plenty to do here. The hotel-run kids’ club runs pizza-making, ball games and dancing. And teens can get involve in team sports, days out and party nights.

This teens' club is for youngsters aged 12 to 17-years-old. There's a packed programme of sports, excursions, video games, barbecue nights around a camp fire, pizza nights and more.
The whopping, curvy pool is the big kahuna here, and there’s a second smaller pool nearby that leads straight to the beach. Both are bordered by tropical banyan trees, daybeds and sunloungers.
