There are three pools, and kids get one of their own, too. The buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with theme nights taking place twice a week. The à la carte line-up includes a Mexican restaurant, a beachside steakhouse and an Italian eatery. When it comes to drinks, you’ve got a couple of watering holes to choose from. Watersports are on offer at the beach. There’s also a full programme of activities, and a floodlit tennis court to use. For some well-deserved ‘me time’, head to the Renova Spa.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
At the beach club, there’s a PADI diving school* and a full menu of watersports, including windsurfing and kayaking. Back at the hotel, you’ll find a floodlit tennis court, plus courts for basketball and volleyball.
You can perfect your dance moves with classes from the pros, or try out aqua aerobics in the pool. Little ones can keep busy at the playground or at the kids’ club, where activities go on every day.

A PADI scuba diving school operates from the hotel, giving you the chance to gain a full PADI diving certificate – a qualification that's accepted worldwide. For the more experienced divers, there’s a boat that can take you out to a private reef. It's just 15 minutes away, and is reserved for RIU customers only. And if you're a complete beginner and just want to give it a go, you can take advantage of the free introductory session. This takes place daily in the hotel swimming pool.

The main buffet restaurant lays on three meals a day. Breakfast includes fresh fruit and pastries, as well as cooked-to-order dishes, like omelettes and pancakes. At dinner time, it offers local and international cuisine, with theme nights twice a week.
The à la carte dining scene is headed up by the Mexican, which plates up local dishes every evening. There’s also an Italian place to try, and you’ve got a steakhouse at the beach, too.

Just so you can come prepared, some of the restaurants have a dress code. It's smart casual so sleeveless t-shirts aren't allowed.

You can treat yourself to the full works at the Renova Spa. It plays host to a hairdressers and a beauty salon. And the huge menu of treatments* lists the likes of Swedish massages and mango and passion fruit body wraps.

This place lines up three pools. There’s a sizeable number that comes with an arc of sunken sunbeds. A smaller, circular pool sits just around the corner, and there’s a third pool down at the beach. They’re all skirted by loungers and palm-thatched parasols.
The appropriately named Tequila pool bar keeps the drinks flowing from 10.30am until midnight. And the poolside snack place serves up light bites. There’s a lively atmosphere all day long, with music playing around the pool.
