There’s a main buffet restaurant at Sol Dunas Resort serving international cuisine, and a snack bar, too. If you fancy a tipple you can take your pick from five bars. There are three main pools and a separate spot for children to take a dip. There are hotel-run clubs for children and teenagers, a splash park and a playground. Treatments* are available at the spa and there’s a gym too, both located at the adjoining Melia Dunas Resort.
SPORTS & ACTIVITIES
The water-based activities include the likes of aqua gym, fishing* and kite surfing*. Back on dry land, you’ve got stuff like beach volleyball and table tennis to choose from. You can dial it down a notch with yoga, too.
Little ones can let loose at the kids' clubs, or the play area – it’s castle-themed, with wobbly bridges and climbing nets to clamber over. As for teens, the games room – stocked with board games and billiards – is a big hit with them, as is the mini-cinema.
FOOD & DRINK
You’ll want to load your plate high with the tasty offerings dished up the buffet restaurant. Breakfast is just as impressive, with a spread of hot and cold food for a hearty start to the day.
For daytime delicacies there’s a little restaurant with a good line in à la carte dining. To cure those afternoon hunger pangs, pop along for a tasty snack.

This place shares spa and gym facilities with the stylish Melia Dunas Resort. There are treatments* on the menu and it's right beside the Sol Dunas.

After dark, the amphitheatre’s the place to be. It’s the setting for mini-discos, live music performances and West End-inspired shows. The seating’s staggered, so you should get a good view wherever you sit.
For something more chilled, there are five bars where you can settle in for a couple of post-dinner cocktails.
- Kids' Club by TUI Family Life
Little ones aged 5 to 12-years-old will have hours of fun at the kids' club. Activities laid on by the staff include, mini aqua discos, terrace games, snorkelling and films in the mini-cinema. This will be hotel run until winter 2018, when it will become a kids' club by TUI Family Life.
- Mini kids' club
The baby club caters for ages 6 months to 4-years-old. The little ones can enjoy mini-discos, mini-buffets and films in the mini-cinema, along with a variety of other activities.
- Teens club
13 to 17-year-olds can head to the teen club, where the staff lay on a variety of activities to keep them entertained. There are DJ classes, video games, karaoke, football tournaments and films in the mini-cinema, along with plenty of other activities.
There are three pools to kick back by, all of which are surrounded by loungers and thatched parasols. Toddlers have a pool of their own to paddle in, too.
A sunken pirate ship, plus animal and tree-shaped fountains are plotted into a kids’ splash park. There’s also a four-lane slide and a couple of curvy chutes for little ones to charge down.
