What's Split like?
Croatia’s second largest city sits on its own peninsula down in the south of the country. Water’s tucked in tight on three sides, so Croatia’s glittering coastline is almost always in eyeshot. Nearby islands, like Brač, even fall in to the frame on a clear day. And thanks to this spot on the coast, in between exploring the city, it’s easy to schedule a lazy day on the beach – Split’s got loads of them in its back catalogue.
