TUI BLUE Orquídea

We stayed at this hotel in May 2018, everything was superb! Faultless! We are yet to find a better hotel! We will definitely return! Great for families who want lots of entertaining around the pool. The food is delicious too!

Having just got back from here I wanted to share my experience. We stayed over new year and cannot fault the staff on the night especially how much effort the chefs had put into the buffet room. We have a 7 month old and a 2 year old and being as we are all vegetarian we found the choices limited on some nights but brilliant on others. The entertainment staff were brilliant and The shows we managed to catch were fantastic. Ewan in particular always made an effort to speak to and try and involve our little boy who is quite shy. My low rating all comes down to the fact the pool was unbelievably cold. In previous posts it’s stated that the pool is heated from November, this is not the case. I asked one of the girls at the help desk and she pulled a face as if to say she was fed up of being asked. Both of our children have been in swimming lessons since they were 6 weeks and our main reason for booking this hotel was for the family pools, we weren’t able to spend more than 10 minutes at a time in the water and as they were both to young for the kids clubs by the 4th day we were struggling for stuff to do. We went to the local beach (as the sea near the hotel isn’t accessible for people with small children) in a taxi (€8) and due to the wind and people trying to sell massages and fake goods went back to the hotel after a couple of hours. All in all I think maybe avoid this hotel with babies.
