Great Resort and Fantastic Holiday
Booked this resort for a large family holiday after recommendation from friends. We went for preferred rooms and this was what made it extra special. I had never done all-inclusive before as I thought it was tacky. This was certainly not that, this was a top class delivery of luxury to guests. From the first contact we were treated great, thanks to Ingrid for sorting rooms for my family after initial confusion. Denny for helping with bags and Wilson and Rueben for looking after us for 2 weeks. The rooms are perfect and all the staff excellent. Selecting an eating place each night was no problem either with so much choice. We all preferred the Seaside Grill for the setting and service, thanks to Cristina, Felix, Juan and Juan. The food was really good also. Also try the Japanese and Italian restaurants as they make it feel like a special holiday. If you have children and going to the preferred the best accommodation would be blocks 3 or 4. The pools were checks by staff 3 or 4 times a day and this gives full confidence that this resort is doing it right. The pool service was great also, thanks the Germain and Joel, they guys never let your glass go empty. Entertainment staff were also great finding things to keep guests happy, Rayber was especially helpful and really funny. They have coffee shop and had a great selection of coffee and ice drinks. Thanks to Julia at the Ice Cream section in the World Buffet, she served everyone with a smile on her face. There isn't anything negative about this place and I would definitely will go back. I have no fear in recommending this place to anyone who likes a good holiday, likes to relax, like to enjoy good food and drink. A big Thank You to all the staff there as everyone treats you well and greet you everyday with a friendly smile, from you first contact to leaving.More
Went here together with my girlfriend, it was a last minute booking and most hotels were full due to long weekend in Dominican Republic. The hotel is slightly older which you can see it in general the do a good job with the upkeep. Rooms are nice clean and comfortable bed. Food was better than expected , the buffe is good and we had dinner in the Japanese restaurante which was good. Drinks are not the best and I would only rate them at a 2.5. The beach is white sand with plenty of chairs so that's all good. There are several pools both family and adult which are nice. All in all a good visit and I would consider to come back.More
Such a beautiful resort. Food was so so. Was there during rain and staff made it great. Was a preferred member and went to the disco techa several times in my stay. Rayber was my favorite staff member from on the beach to getting people to dance at the disco techa. Enjoyed myself throughly. More
Nice place to visit
The staff was very accommodating. Entertainment crew really had to work overtime since it rained 4 of the 6 days we were there, Food was okay, the Japanese restaurant was fabulous. Seaside Grill was good to, however the World Cafe was just ordinary! The roof was actually leaking on our meals. Beach became a hassle when there we actually vendors/pan handlers everyday trying to sell you something. Even the hotel was doing their own pan handling when they want you to attend a 90 minute meeting to try to sell you a vacation "timeshare". Heard so much praise about this resort but can't say I'll return. Then when we go to leave Jimmy Molina from Amstar told us that we were lucky that he would even get us a ride to the airport, because we did not book ahead of time (like how should we have known, we thought the resort took care of it for us). Really left a sore taste in our mouths. It was nice , but would never do it again.More
January Visit to Dreams Punta Cana
The staff make this resort! Staff friendly and incredibly accommodating. The pool is an amazing design, so it never seems as if it is crowded. Poolside bar at one end of pool allows for quiet at the other end of pool. Beautiful beaches and excellent food. While we were there they had a fresh fruit stand adding to the paradise feel. The only "heads up" the rooms are a little old. Fresh paint and minor repairs would have made this a 5 rating. However, for the time you spend in the room and the price, I would return and recommend.More
