Every time I have a chance to make a trip to the DR, this is my home away from home. Where should I start? A warm welcome upon arrival, as always. Big smiles. A moist cool towel and a refreshing drink the moment one steps off the transportations. The check in process is a breeze if you don't arrive with a bus full of people. Got a beautiful room again. Nice quiet location as I requested, even though the hotel was packed. Ask for buildings 7 or 8, garden view, for these purposes. Wanting a room with pool or ocean view never gets you the quiet or the privacy what you are looking for, in case you are just looking for peace. I stayed away from the entertainment team. No offense guys! I just came to relax and make most of the 4 nights on the property. With that in mind, booked a few services at the Spa, which helped the de-stress process. The girls were very attentive to all the inquiries I made them. The food. To my judgement, not being fussy, the quality is good. The buffet might get a bit boring in the selection, if you follow a diet, but the variety is definitely wide. A good selection of fresh fruit and the dietary corner definitely worked for me!! Thanks for another wonderful stay everyone: Raul, Ruben, Ingrid, Joel, Pedro, Hilario, Milan, Minerva, Rigoberto, Arismendy, Rudy, Carlos, Nestor, Juan, Benito. And the rest I am not able to mention right now. You know I'll be back!!! More

Nothing short of EXCELENTE!!!
I just returned from this beautiful resort. 5 days in paradise is what I call it!!! Upon arrival at the resort I was greeted with a warm smile, a cold towel and an awesome pina colada. The preferred club was definitely worth the upgrade as the staff is amazing. I have never received such impeccable service anywhere. Some may say the kindness they offer is part of their job, well outstanding customer service is part of any service industry job and I have never gotten it at Wal-Mart so I think the staff at Dreams Palm beach deserves credit for doing their job with a smile that feels genuine. Special thanks to Vangie, who prior to my arrival was incredibly helpful (via internet) in helping me to upgrade my room. Once I was at the resort she was very helpful and outgoing in assisting me with a cell phone issue. Liliana and Carlos at the preferred club were beyond awesome. Liliana had champagne delivered to my room to celebrate my 40th birthday! Cristina and Ray at the Sea Side Grill were very kind and friendly. Alberto at the World Café was fantastic at remembering who we were and what drinks we liked. Christian at the lobby bar was terrific as well. The beach was beautiful and my room was beyond perfect. Ramon who stocked my mini bar was a great guy! I didn't get to experience the pool, any activities, nightlife or a few of the restaurants due to issues with my travel mate so this cannot be attributed to the resort. I will absolutely return for my birthday each year and will bring better company. I look forward to hearing "Welcome Home" upon my arrival!! The only small issue I did have was the food, it was a little bland at times but there is so much food around that it is hard to not find something you like.More

Excellente!! Returning Again!!
We are a family of 4 from NY (2 girls aged 9 and 5). We stayed at Dreams PB for 8 days and I'm writing my review on our last day here (April 16). We've been to quite a few resorts with our family and I must say that I've never felt so sad to leave such a wonderful resort. And the one thing that absolutely makes this resort want you to return (other than the beautiful beach and emaculate grounds) are the amazing staff!! By the end of our trip, we felt like family here. My girls especially loved Candyman, Jack, Woody, and Elias!! They went out of their way always to make sure my girls were happy at all times. So many different activities for them to do during the day, either in the pool or just around the resort. They have a kids club too, but my girls were just as happy to do their own thing and be entertained by the wonderful staff. Some really nice shows at night for entertainment too. Casino and a dance club which if you have small children, you really wont use much anyway. Food is also very good with choices of Italian, French, Mexican, or Hibachi Japanese cooking. The buffet was very good too for an all inclusive resort with quite a variety. During the day, they have kebab carts that go around with delicious steak and chicken. Right on the beach is a grill with hamburgers and hot dogs and fries at any time during the day. This is an amazing resort for families. If you see any negative reviews, it will be from couples most likely who travelled without children who have different expectations. But honestly, if you want to just relax, you can do whatever you want. The staff won't bother you if you don't want to be bothered. You make your vacation what you want it to be. I saw plenty of people with no children who still were having a great time. One word of advice for families travelling with children, either get yourself a suite or adjoining rooms. I wish I knew this ahead of time because we had to upgrade when we had checked in. The size of what was supposed to be a room for 4 people in the preferred section was barely enough room for 2. It had 2 small double beds with a gigantic shower and no door on the bathroom. This set up confused us to say the least. But after paying extra for the suite in preferred section, the accommodations were much better. Preferred basically gets you free Wifi, extra snacks, access to a smaller quieter pool, and food at the Seaside Grill. My girls didn't even use the smaller pool though because they like to be where the action is which is mainly at the pool where the pool bar is located. So to sum it up, our impression of this resort is Wow!! Excellente!! We heard this saying numerous times by staff members and "I love my job!" was heard many times by Woody and Simon! We never have been to a resort who made us feel so welcome and wanting us to return again. So when we check out, we will be asking to return as a repeated guest! I know my girls will be incredibly sad when we have to leave tomorrow and say our goodbyes, but knowing that we will return next year will give us something to look forward to. Our standards are pretty high when it comes to staying at an all inclusive resort so don't take this review lightly. It's also my 1st review on trip advisor despite us having been to other places. As far as the seaweed by the way that some people bring up in reviews, it is not an issue at all with your enjoyment of their beautiful beach here. The staff also comes up and down daily on the beach more than once taking and carting away the seaweed that builds up. Not a problem at all. I hope this review helped you if you who want a beautiful, well maintained, and extremely clean resort with some of the best workers I have ever encountered!! Thank you to all that work here at Dreams Palm Beach! Your service was Excellente! More
Carlos was a great help. He was at your service whenever you needed him! He was always smiling and that's what people like to see.Wilkin was the best also. He went above and beyond what was expected. We will definitely be back because of these wonderful men!!!More

Amazing, ready to go back...
Can't say enough! I went 2 weeks ago and LOVED IT! My daughter and I went down for a week and had the best time at Dreams Palm Beach. From the point of arrival to when we left...this was definitely a wonderful experience. The resort is gorgeous, the staff made our trip what it was...they are all equally awesome, the room was beautiful and it didn't hurt that we had a beautiful view of the pool and beach, the food was good and can't beat all the delicious drinks, great entertainment during the day and at night, something different daily...very lively throughout the property with music and all the wonderful activities you can take part in. Nothing short of AMAZING! Being a travel agent myself, I was truly impressed. Thank you Dreams for making our stay unforgettable! Can't wait to go back!!!!!More
