Best vacation ever
Absolutely loved every second of the vacation. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They would even call our rooms just to check up and make sure everything was great. The resort was beautifully decorated and always kept clean. The beach was also beautiful and there were always plenty of chairs. There were plenty of choices for foods, so it was good for all ages! To my surprise the French restaurant was my favorite! The world cafe was spectacular too with plenty of options. You could have something different everyday! They had entertainment throughout the entire day you could never be bored! Whether it was at the pool or in the theater, the entertainment team did a great job of including everyone and making a memorable vacation. The machine, rayber, junior, teddy bear, and gasolina were so friendly and great to joke around with! The workers at dreams palm beach made a very memorable vacation for my family. Can't wait to go back!More
Very nice resort, great food, great location.
My new wife and I visited Dreams Palm Beach for our honeymoon in early July, we had a lovely time and it was probably the best all inclusive hotel we've been to. Food was very good indeed for an all inclusive resort and they were very good at ensuring you had a drink in your hand and a well stocked minibar. We stayed in the preferred club, which personally we found worth the extra, if nothing else for the free hotel wide WiFi which was fast (75meg at times) albeit with intermittent drops outs. The main pool was quite loud if you like that sort of scene, the preferred adults pool was a heat trap and very hot with little breeze, we found the preferred family pool was the best of both worlds as it was cooler, a little quieter and closest to the beach. Quite liked the little coffee shop which served barista coffee all day, a nice facility to have! The only "average" part of the hotel was the quality of the rooms, they are beginning to be a little tired such as rust appearing on the bathroom fittings, poorly re-grouted and re-sealed tiles & bathroom furniture and noisy air con. The room was absolutely fine, but having paid for a "delux, sea view room with a jacuzzi" we were a little underwhelmed with what was really a standard room that you could just about sea the sea from, with a big bath in a dark bathroom. Overall though, for the price we paid, it was a very good value holiday...More

Perfect family holiday
We arrived at dreams as part of two centre holiday, Dreams first week and Now Larimar second week. I find it important in these reviews to mention we are regular all inclusive Caribbean travellers including a trip to Dreams sister property in the Mexican riviera coast, not for boastful purpose but so you can see this is well rounded review. We found this property to be far superior in all areas. The service was outstanding truly rare in all inclusive resorts . We did not need to tip to get good service they loved the children and were genuinely friendly. We did tip because they work hard and earn little but not at first and the service was still wonderful. We did upgrade to preferred because we like quiet places. The main pool is so lovely and warm but too noisy for us. We stayed at the preferred club family pool and had the wonderful Germain serve us drinks all day. Without asking every morning and at regular intervals he would bring ice cold drinks. I think I went to the bar once all week because I decided to try a different cocktail. Again he noticed I had changed drinks and brought me one every day. We ate breakfast most mornings in preferred club seafood grill as we like table service and it is on the beach with lovely views this is for preferred club only during breakfast and lunch but open to all for dinner . The buffet was wonderful a little warm as no air conditioning but this is being addressed .The selection of food for lunch and breakfast is immense. Much more diverse than most resorts we have visited. We ate at all the Al-La Carte restaurants and enjoyed them all. Our favourite was the seaside grill. The rib eye and tenderloin were as good as home steaks and service was wonderful. Edwin the restaurant manger went above and beyond service. The staff are a credit to this resort. Lastly the level of cleanness is amazing. The resort was at full capacity and I felt the service and attention to detail did not suffer. Rooms - we were lucky enough to have the honeymoon suite and it was amazing a real wow factor . I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We have travelled to Sandals before and this small reasonability priced resort runs rings around the big expensive players. A lot of people asked me if preferred was worth the upgrade, for us yes. The entertainment at this resort is amazing the shows wonderful but we are quiet people and the preferred pool offered us that option. However I would still travel here non preferred . You will not be disappointed. We are now spending our second week at Now Larimar we were gutted to leave dreams but we will come back. I congratulate the management on getting it so right. As as travel agent I am aware this is easier than it looks. I look forward to booking my clients into your hotel with confidence. Lastly your staff are a credit to you Alexander ,Tito, Ricardo,Hector, Cristina and many more who I wish I could remember. More
I love it!!
Absolutely loved it! I recommend to anybody looking to get away. Great food, great pools, great service, great bars. The only negative thing I have to say is that the beaches were slightly covered in seaweed but it doesn't effect the trip. They have a wonderful swim up bar as well! By the end of the trip I knew the staff by names and they knew us by names More
Greatest vacation Ever
This vacation was an amazing week in paradise. The food is great, and anything you have a taste for, they have in the resort. The beaches are beautiful and well kept. They have a good variety of excursions to take, I recommend the saona island one. There is always something to do on the resort. They have kayaking, parasailing, they have events going on every night and day in the theatre or entertainment stage right next to the pool. You are never bored. The staff is what made the whole trip worth while, and they all spoke English very well. Everyone is so cheerful and helpful. The bartenders are quick, the servers are friendly, the entertainment crew was absolutely great. I recommend befriending The Machine (yes that's his name tag) junior, rayber, gasolina, teddy bear, Isabella. They we're all so fun to hang out with or joke around with and they always tried to involve everyone when they hosted events. I would absolutely go back.More
