It was like a dream.

We had a great time. It was like a fantasy or a dream. The weather, the locale, the hotel and so on were perfect. The food was delicious and there were many choices. The staff was accommodating and very polite. George at the World Café and Francisco the concierge were especially helpful.More

Entertainment Team

The entertainment team is definitley why I would come back to this resort. They made our stay very enjoyable and full of laughter and smiles through our whole stay. The activities were hilarious and the nightly shows were amazing as well. Manny, Sandy Beach, Sammuel, Eddie Murphy, Super Felix, Enetstor aka Chocolate :) They were an amazing group and I will be definitely be coming back to this resort again next year. The food was great. The staff around the resort was very thoughtful and accommodating. I would recommend this resort to anyone for singles, honeymoon and families of all ages.More

..totally awesome. We were here for my daughter's wedding, so it wasn't us that chose the hotel, but wow she made an excellent choice. I read a few reviews here before we left and I generally start with the worst ones and move up. It's true there was a lot of seaweed, and yes you can smell it, did it spoil my vacation, not one bit. (if you research almost the whole region has had excessive seaweed this year). We did note that this hotel did much more than their neighbours to remove the seaweed from the beach. Some people complained of constant solicitation and up selling - didn't see any. Some people complained of having to tip for good service - rubbish, we got exactly the same friendly smile whether we tipped or not. We do tip however as it can make a huge difference to the employees life and really doesn't make a big difference to the cost of a vacation. Now the good bits, food - fantastic, everybody is asked to sanitize their hands before entering the buffet, what a great idea. the choice in the buffet if great and if you can't find something to eat, it's probably you that has the problem. The a la carte restaurants are unlimited with no booking required and the Chinese, Japanese, Italian and French (adult only) all offering great meals served by happy people. The Japanese is worth going for the entertainment. The food at the seaside grill was good but we had a long wait and the night we went it was extremely windy so it spoilt our enjoyment. The entertainment team were always bubbling with enthusiasm and the shows in the theatre are well worth going to see, the circus night in particular. For the little kids there is an explorer club and they'll even take them to lunch for you. For a wedding venue my daughter was really happy with everything. One nice touch which we hadn't experienced before was that they clean the rooms twice a day, and restock the fridge. And talking of drinks every bar had premium brands. We like to try different resorts when we travel but this is one we would definitely return to.More

Apple Square Deal

This is my 5th trip to Punta Cana- 2nd booking through the 6 Golden Apple Square Deal The food at the buffet was average at best. The Italian and French restaurants were amazing as was the Coco Cafe. The staff at the restaurants and Coco Cafe were the best in the whole resort. The rooms were very clean but could use an upgrade. The beach is very small and full of seaweed. The resort did the best they could to clean it up but it isn't the beautiful clean beach I have experienced in the Dominican. The entertainment staff did a great job of having activities for everyone. They were able to create a lively vibe around the pool. I would not stay here again but for the price through the Square Deal it was worth it. More

Excellent Experience!!

I just got back from one of the best experiences I've had at a resort in the Caribbean. I stayed at Dreams Palm Beach Punta. What set this place apart from anywhere else I've been is the service and the people. It goes without saying that the property (room, restaurants, gym, spa, disco, bars were all clean, up to date and well maintained). I would be remissed if I didn't single out a few people / staff who made my stay just plain 'Excellent!!!'. I stayed at the VIP section so my experience is focussed to that area of the resort. One of the first people who greeted us was Jermaine (server at Seaside grill) who always remembered what my order was. He remembered the details of things I had ordered days ago and was always willing to go above and beyond to make my stay that much more memorable. Things like making sure our order was the way 'we wanted it' and making sure it was delivered to us even when we wandered away to another area of our resort! Leandro was also a key part of the experience. He greeted us everyday, remembered our names and the details of where we came from and what we had done while at the resort. He gave us advice on what we should do and where we should eat depending on our likes. Leandro also went above and beyond by keeping our fridge stocked full of Presidentes!! Cristina, at our favourite Seaside spot, also remembered details of our time there, and always situated us at the best table in the restaurant. Last but not least, the GM of the resort Pedro Thomas, was extremely visible and hands on. Even though he had a very busy schedule he would always take the time to stop by and make sure that our stay was going as planned. I've been to many resorts and I've never had this much personal interaction and level of service from the General Manager. I am definitely leaving out some people but I am certain that if you decide to go to Dreams Palm Beach that you will have an amazing experience and enjoy the level of service from those mentioned above and more.....
