Aparthotel Ferrera Blanca

So i booked this holiday well in advance as it did not come cheap and my little girls first holiday! When we arrived we complained straight away our room stank of damp and sewers, the wall was wet through with damp. I didn't want my baby sleeping in that. I rang the reception to be advised the cleaner would come. They never came until later that nighy when we was out, we arrived home to find a empty bottle of air freshener. I complained as its not acceptable they moved us rooms not until 2pm the next day, even said if we want a better room you need to pay! The next room was the same, when i say stank you couldn't even sleep, even having a shower made you feel sick. My daughter got ill whilst we was away i thought it was from going in the pool, when she went the doctors she had a chest infection more than likely caused by the damp! I dont usually complain but this totally spoilt our holiday, we didn't sleep, you couldnt chill in your room. When i have made a conplaint to the manger he has basically said you can have 10% discount next time we book- which i won't be doing. Don't get me wrong the staff were good and food ok but that totally ruined it for us, not only that 1 hour after they moved someone else in our room so clearly are not bothered. I have had to write a review as paying £3,500 for a week is so expensive for no one to care and for us to have a bad holiday!

One of the best hotel experience, everything was perfect. Staffs was extremely friendly. Especially Javi in the Snack-bar and Jose´s laugh at the Pool-bar (Laugh as Goofy :-)) We will be back in the future

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! It was my boyfriend and I’s first holiday together and we couldn’t of picked anywhere so perfect. The whole hotel is so picturesque and beautiful but also modern, from the first welcome by reception we instantly felt welcome and was given all vital information and more! We were told times for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the different pools around the hotel and, most importantly, what nights were themed for dinner! Our room was 8-401, it was gorgeous, clean, spacious, an all round 10/10. We had a beautiful balcony over looking a pool and the beach! It was also very well air conditioned which made sleeping very comfortable. I would like to stay in this exact room when we return :) The staff work so hard all day, everyday, morning to night. The bar staff, restaurant staff and especially the animation! All so extremely friendly and make you feel so welcome at all times. The bar staff make exceptional cocktails, they’re so funny, and actually do table service when the evenings draw in. The restaurant staff work their actual backsides off, always working their hardest making sure you have the smoothest dining experience. The animation do amazing activities throughout the day for children and adults! Always something to do and when night rolls around they also do the mini disco for children. THE FOOD WOW!!! These chefs are so skilled, there is different themes every night and Mexican was absolutely my favourite. The restaurant and cooking conditions are super clean, it’s easy to get around the buffet and hardly ever que’s. So much choice but also made sure there was a selection for fussy eaters. Breakfast and lunch were also outstanding, with a full english in the morning to burgers and pizza for your afternoon snack! I cannot stress how gorgeous this hotel is we honestly fell absolutely in love. Everything is in such close range a quick walk into town where you’re greeted by lively bars and restaurants with plenary of shops for souvenirs or day to day needs. If you decide to go out drinking (day or night) I must recommend the Tiki bar literally outside the hotel, there’s a bar in town called Aloha and it is 10/10 amazing. It’s so gorgeous, the music is great, cocktails are top range and the staff are brilliant (and there’s a burger king next door). I would take full advantage of your all inclusive bar before heading out though ;). There is a beautiful beach less than a 30 second walk from the hotel, not to mention a supermarket outside where you can find local foods, drinks and essentials. Oh and the all inclusive bar IS BRANDED ALCOHOL!!! 5 pools! 5!!! One located by the main bar by the reception, two located by the main restaurant and another bar which also doubles up as a snack bar throughout the day and gorgeous Italian restaurant by night, one tucked away in the hotel it is an adult pool which was perfect for us as it was a break from the families and finally the children’s pool with wonderful water features and seating area for adults AND another bar with happy burger! There is always drinks and food available throughout the day, the hotel is perfect I would not change anything about our stay and we hope to return soon. Thank you Ferrera Blanca :)
