This beachside hotel comes with a duo of pools and restaurants, and it’s big on activities, too.
There are 2 lagoon pools and 2 restaurants – 1 does buffets, the other is a speciality grill. You’ve also got an A to Z of activities, while in the evening there’s entertainment in the theatre.
Location-wise, this hotel hits the right spot. It’s right on a sandy beach, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk from shops and bars in the centre of Costa Caleta.

First visit to this island and hotel location excellent, hotel very clean and staff helpful, bed room clean and lovely decor, beds comfortable, no problems getting sun beds but it is November not sure what it would be like height of summer, 2 amazing large pools and ones heated. I would have given this hotel 5* but the food lets it down most of the hot foods was at best Luke warm other than that I would award it 4.5 star More
Great hotel, very nice location, excellent food.
Just spent four days at this hotel and really enjoyed it, accommodation and food quality were great and all the staff were very friendly. My only other observation is that at a hotel of this price point, quality and caliber it is cheap and demeaning to nickel and dime your guests by charging extra to use the room safeMore
Everything about my holiday was fantastic, only got back last Saturday. The hotel is fab, rooms large and spotless and all staff were amazing. The main restaurant (buffet) was busy for all sittings and the food was delicious and service attentive and friendly. Pool bar again always bustling with hungry an thirsty holiday makers, however, the staff were always ready with a smile and the food was also equally as delicious. I feel I must make a special mention about the Animation Team, their energy is boundless and they work tirelessly to entertain the kids and adults. The pool games are fab especially the Cocktail Game which takes place just before lunch at the poolside. There's a award ceremony every evening before the entertainment starts for the days winners an they really make you feel special. The shows they put on in an evening really showcases their amazing talent. I can't remember all of the names however Martin, Daniel and Frederica come to mind. I would highly recommend this hotel for holidays and will defo be going back myself. Just one tip, the pool is saltwater and can affect your eyes so maybe pack a pair of goggles.... Have been to Barcelo Thallosso many times before and although it’s starting to show its age Barcelo are on a continual improvement programme to make sure standards are keep high. We were upgraded to a superior room - thank you Barcelo! Room clean, lovely big bed, balcony with afternoon sun and very clean. Good variety of food at all times (we were AI) and enough variety of AI drinks to keep us happy. For such a big hotel the standards are very good. Pool bar start we’re exceptionally friendly and helpful. We always try and stay in Barcelo hotels when in the Canaries or Spain as we know standards are so good. Luckily the pool bar was still open even though the Winter season had started. Great for us and we were not bothered about evening entertainment. I treated myself to a facial with Anthea on the Spa and really enjoyed it. My husband said he could see the difference! All in all a lovely break with decent weather in an excellent hotel which is very well located. More
