This beachside hotel comes with a duo of pools and restaurants, and it’s big on activities, too.
There are 2 lagoon pools and 2 restaurants – 1 does buffets, the other is a speciality grill. You’ve also got an A to Z of activities, while in the evening there’s entertainment in the theatre.
Location-wise, this hotel hits the right spot. It’s right on a sandy beach, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk from shops and bars in the centre of Costa Caleta.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff are so friendly. The only think they need to improve is the food and the entertainment at night for the adults because it finished at 10.30pm and weren't ready to go to our roomsMore

Came here on recommendation of travel agent(Thomsons) as wife is wheelchair dependant and needs a gauranteed accesible room which most hotels seem reluctant to offer. Not dissapointed in any way whatsoever. All the staff are friendly and do everything possible to make you feel welcome and anything they can to make you happy. The room was excellent and perfect for people who are wheelchair dependant. The room was very clean on arrival and kept that way all through the holiday. We were also able to keep the room till late in the afternoon on our last day as we had an evening flight home. The restaurant always had good quality food on offer and with plenty of choices. Even the fussiest of eaters would find something to eat. The staff were always keen to help including cremating my bacon every morning. Could not fault the hotel in any way and will definately be back but would come back at a quieter time because the hotel became very busy in our second week. No ones fault, just an extremely popular hotel. The pool area was excellent although i struggle to understand the pool towel on sunbeds ritual early every morning. Top marks to the hotel and all the staff. More
Stayed at the Barceló spa middle two weeks of July weather was spot on 30 degrees and a lovely breeze most of the time. Hotel staff very friendly always smiling and nothing to much trouble asked for a room high up and with a view and got one on top floor with a great sea and pool view so thank you to the reception staff for that. Rooms were of a great size and massive comfortable bed with nice pillows which makes a nice change. Two gates out the back of the hotel lead right out onto the promadade and beach which is lovely soft sand and gently shelving into the sea walk for miles and still only waist deep really good for snorkling loads of fish by the edge of the sea. Drinks were branded for no extra cost even shots. Would highly recommend and would go back tomorrow if I could.More
Loved this hotel, clean, staff friendly, dining area does get busy but never a problem, food amazing, pool area clean and plenty of sun beds, worth going all inclusive as food and drinks great quality. Rooms great, superior ones, you get pool towels included and tea/coffee kettle, otherwise you can hire towels and a safe. i would 100% recommend this hotel. More
This place is brill whatever your age. Clean , tidy, polite staff , good food and in a brill spot being only 15 mins from airport. Our kids aged 5-7 absolutely loved it here. Anyone that has put a bad review on this place are either someone that loves to moan and pick about things or just been unlucky enough to have something go wrong. The only thing I could say to someone is that the pools are salt water, but that is a good thing I think. I stayed in room 1335 on 3rd floor over looking beach and nxt to the Irish bar, not any problems there either. My only wish on this holiday is we should have stayed longer.ðððMore
