Food not very hot and one of the chef's in the dinning room was a disgrace clothes dirty plus showing his body Not A Very nice EXPERIENCE a part from that the hotel was very good but food and chef in particular must take a step upMore
We have just had a really lovely week at be live experience. The staff could not be faulted, they were fab from start to finish and all different staff in different departments. They should all be very proud of the service they deliver and I include the young man who cleans pool area in the morning. The ladies who clean the rooms took such pride making everything look lovely ....Thankyou. The food was plentiful and fresh. Yes a little repetitive but this tends to happen in all inclusive and certainly no criticism from us. If you fancy a change there are plenty of reasonable prices restaurants and bars local to break it up little for night out. Entertainment team were great with the children ....Thankyou to ladies who looked after my little grand daughter during our stay. Lovely family holiday ðMore

My daughter and I booked a week in June for a relaxing break. On arrival around 7.30 pm reception staff asked us to leave our cases and showed us to the dining area so we were able to have our evening meal, this was a nice touch, realising we had been travelling a while and we're ready for food! After check in we were shown to our superior room....really lovely clean and modern, our room had small kitchen area with microwave cooker and sink, not really sure why we would need this as we were all inclusive, the bathroom was large and very modern. However on opening the curtains we realised we were on ground floor and not very private as our patio area opened straight onto the walkway for both pool and restraunt access. We then became aware of a fair bit of pedestrian traffic passing back and forth and decided this would not be suitable for us. We approached reception with our complaint and they asked us to stay in this room tonight and we would be moved the next day....true to their word and with no bother we were moved to a top floor room with balcony overlooking the pool. This for us was the perfect room. Food in he hotel...plenty of choice though a few strange combinations...broccoli for breakfast??? We did find at busy times rather large queues, and we felt that there could be a few more food stations which would help. We did eat out a couple of night as we both tend to find all inclusive a wee bit repetitive. Staff within the hotel all very friendly. We went to see a few nights of the entertainment and enjoyed it. A bit of a moan.....sunbeds are reserved very early, I got up for the loo and saw someone popping their towel on...5am.....really!!!! There is a stack of sunbeds near the pool, so why people feel the need to get up at silly o'clock to claim their bed...beyond me!!! Around the area there are plenty of bars, restraunts and shops. If you are a beach fan then it's a couple of minutes walk from the hotel to a large sandy beach, sunbeds can be hired for the day 8 euros for one or two for 12 euros. We would both recommend this hotel as we really enjoyed our week stayMore
We arrived about 9.30 in the evening to a welcome drink at reception. Check in was quick and the restaurant had provided a cold buffet at 10pm which was just what we needed. The hotel was lovely and clean and staff couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were fine, clean and well appointed with a/c fridge and walk in shower. The only niggle was the storage, there were two tiny drawers under the safe, a hanging rail which wasn't high enough to hang dresses or trousers so everything had to be folded, and a big shelf above which if you're 5ft 1 is difficult to get things on and off.it may be useful to take a few spare hangers. The food was average hotel fare, chicken and pork most nights and always a fish dish &salads veg etc. We tend to eat out some nights anyway. The big problem with the hotel is the sunbed situation, we awoke about 7.45am on the first morning and there were hardly any sunbeds without towels on them, there are some spare beds but there are not enough parasols. Some people were reserving them and didn't turn up till the afternoon. This really needs to be addressed that sun is very hot and everybody wants to spend time in the sun without getting up at 6.30am to claim your bed. The pool itself was lovely, not too deep if a little cold although late afternoon was better, however it didn't seem to bother the children. Around the pool there are some tiles which are coming up and these should be mended as soon as possible as they are an accident waiting to happen. Would we go again? Yes the hotel was very relaxing and Costa Teguise is lovely, clean with plenty of bars and restaurants. If you have never been to Lanzarote before take a cardi or hoodie, sometimes the wind can be quite strong and chilly at night. But enjoy. We didMore
