New Year in Lanzarote
Myself my husband and our daughter stayed at the Be Live Lanzarote Beach from the 28th Dec to the 4th Jan and what a fabulous time we had .The weather was beautiful warm and sunny you could not get a better location for an hotel if you left by the back steps you were directly on the promenade that lead to the beach and if you leave via reception you are directly in the town with all the shops and bars. The hotel staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them always a smile for you. The dining room is down some stairs and there are no window but its quite light and the food is the usual all inclusive fare. there was a good selection of meats and salad and also a pasta area. The food on the gala dinner for new years eve was fantastic form fresh lobster salmon crab and freshly cooked steaks. The snack bar was good for lunch just the usual snacks hot dogs burgers etc. The entertainment staff were very friendly but did not pressure you if did not want to join in daily games. There was live entertainment every night and waiter service for drinks if required. The pub located just off reception was nice for a drink and hubby enjoyed the live football this was also included in the all inclusive package. Cost Teguise is a nice purpose built resort with plenty of restaurants bars and shops and reasonable priced. The costal path also takes you right down the coast if you are feeling energetic. We has a family room with a kitchenette was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff. The only gripe was no free Wi-Fi but hey you are on holiday. Had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return for another winter break .More

Just returned from trip to the hotel with partner! Very good deal with great value for money. The staff at the hotel are a credit to the company, couldn't fault them. Polite and very attentive. Reception happy to help with any queries. Room cleaned everyday to high standard, room itself very nice filling all our needs. Great range of food on offer every day, regularly topped up. Travelled with Thomson, positive experience. Only comment being their excursions seem pricey compared to other companies. Would recommend Last Minute travel found just out the back of the hotel. Worth noting that internet is paid for, we found that most bars had free wifi though so just used that. Only complaint would be the temperature of the pool, unbearable! Would definitely recommend and visit again. Thanks to all the staff!More
Brilliant holiday! Amazing value!
The service at this hotel was brilliant - the staff were very helpful, friendly and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel looks fresh and modern throughout and is extremely clean. We booked really last minute as it was a cheap deal, and my husband and I thought that we would just see how it went and our expectations weren't very high - we had a big surprise. The room we had was great, very clean and modern. There was a fridge that you could use to cool bottles of water that are given free at reception (or whatever you wanted). our room was close to reception and on the ground floor, so the only draw back with that was privacy and keeping the curtains open! But it wasn't really a problem. The location couldn't really be better for Costa Teguise - you are literally in the centre of everything but that doesn't mean that it's noisy etc. It is within easy reach of all amenities - the beach, bars, restaurants, shops and the Square which is basically a big courtyard with all bars and restaurants around the edges and a bandstand in the centre where they have musicians. There is a fab atmosphere up there, and they hold a small market there on Tuesday and Friday evenings. There is also a excursion shop located at the back of the hotel and down the stairs, on the beach front. These were so reasonable for any trips - we paid â¬4 each for a trip to Teguise market when Thomsons offer it at â¬16 each! Tegusie market is okay...but it's very repetitive. The small market in the Square is a better option in my opinion, and just a minute walk from the hotel. The pub/bar at the hotel called the Brandy Well is brilliant - the service is great, the bar staff don't stop and nothing is too much. It's great sitting out there in the day - it's a sun trap! And you get to meet people for a chat and get drunk haha! All in all, this hotel is amazing value for money. There was nothing to complain about (apart from there only being two English channels, but again not really a problem). There aren't really that many facilities for kids however, but there were a few little ones there who seemed to enjoy. It may just be that nothing for kids was apparent, as it's off-season. I would definitely recommend to anyone to book here.More
