    Strategically placed with lovely lake views and luscious green surroundings, the Hotel Villa Galaezzi has prime position on Lake Garda's western shore.

    Small and friendly, this traditionally styled hotel will make you feel right at home. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, some with balconies overlooking terracotta roofs that hide among a swathe of emerald trees.

    Downstairs is a sophisticated bar, complete with Chesterfield sofas, as well as light, ornate dining room serving up breakfasts and Mediterranean-style evening meals for an extra charge. If you’re pencilling in a couple of days of doing nothing, then make sure you spend them by the outdoor pool – it’s surrounded by thick bushes that make it feel all the more secluded.

    When you decide to explore further, take a leisurely stroll down to Salò or up to Gardone, both a couple of kilometres in each direction. The hotel is also just a 5-minute walk to the promenade and ferry pier, where you can catch a boat to explore other towns and villages dotted around the lake.

    We booked this hotel at fairly short notice and unearthed a gem. Very comfortable room , great amenities , a breakfast with a lot of tasty choices . Staff here are so polite and helpful , a joy to be here at this place. Don't worry it is not in a main area on the lake , easy access to both barbarano and beautiful Salo

    We stayed for 4 nights & had a good sized room & bathroom with a great shower & a balcony. The Staff were all very friendly & helpful and there was a huge choice at breakfast every morning with hot & cold food, pastries and cake. A short walk into Gardonne and the bars restaurants and cafes and a slightly longer walk into nearby Salo.

    Reasonably priced, a tad dusty / old dated in the decor, with very friendly and professional staff and in a good location. Its restaurant is said to be good. I had a terrible sandwich, though... maybe they just were in a bad moment.

    unfortunately on the first day of our holiday i had a fall , I have to say the staff were wonderful and so so kind nothing was too much trouble thank you all. the holiday went well the hotel is lovely fab room and the food is superb this is a lovely place to stay all the staff are great marta looked after us very well so once again a big thankyou

    Lovely hotel and very friendly and helpful staff (with the exception of the grumpy barman). We had a lovely room on the top floor. Good breakfasts. Whilst the lakeside is easily accessible on foot, a car is ideal to get about. The underground car park is quite tight so small cars are best.
