It's all about the pools here, and it's no wonder. Not only can you grab yourself a prime spot for a sea view, but each pool has a pergola area with sunbeds, great for cooling off on those lazy days. There's one that's for adults only, too.

Magic Mungo Club

This is definitely the place to be. With parties, games, pool games, shows, picnics and a great playground, there's plenty to keep the little ones well entertained. For ages 3 to 6 years, available 6 days a week.

El Gusto restaurant

Choose from a great range of Spanish and Canarian dishes for dinner. You'll get 1 visit here per week included in your All Inclusive. This place is only open on select days, so you'll need to reserve a table 24-hours ahead. Gentlemen are required to wear full-length trousers for dinner.

Spent 1 week here 9th to 16th July, room was good, plenty of space with flat screen tv, only sky news in english though, free safe and a mini fridge with bottled water on arrival. Hotel and grounds spotless all the staff are very friendly and always speak they work very hard. The down side to this hotel which cant be helped is the wind, if you want a windy holiday this is the place to go, towels need to be tied or pegged to loungers or you will loose them. Get a taxi to next village 9 euros from hotel or turn left out of hotel walk 10 mins to first island and only 4 euros from there and there is no wind. This hotel is more geared up for germans entertainment staff always speak to them and ignore the english unless you speak first. There are no wrist bands so bar staff serve all ages with alcohol, could really do with a way to identify under 18.More

summer holiday 2016

Excellent hotel, well maintained, plenty to do, staff very helpful and food of a very high standard with a wide range of choices. Our daughter celebrated her 16th birthday while we we there, and the hotel gave us a beautifully decorated table, made a cake and supplied a bottle of fizz - both breakfast and dinner! and all at no charge. I particularly enjoyed the exercise classes, the Russian Dance "Captain" was a hard task master, but classes were as good as you'd get in a gym back home. Loved swimming and sunbathing in the "au naturel" area. The only slight downside to this hotel is its location - there isn't anything within walking distance, apart from a nice little beach bar about 10 minute walk on the sea front.More

An Amazing All Inclusive Hotel

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my partner in July. We had an amazing time, it is one of the best all inclusive hotels we have been too. Our Room was huge, and the view was out of this world, the best view I have ever had in a hotel, we looked straight out onto the beach, never got bored of the view and miss it already! Beds were comfortable, shower powerful enough. Only thing I would say is it would benefit from a bit more storage space but we managed fine. The Food was the best we have had on holiday, plenty to choose from and didn't really ever get bored of it. Breakfast had a great choice and my partner loved his full English! The pastries were very nice too. Dinner always had a good choice of various meats fish etc. In the evening there was a white chocolate fountain, it was so good, tasted like melted milkybar! Good choice of ice cream too with lots of choices for toppings. We ate in the Italian and Canarian a lacarte. To be honest they weren't as good as we were expecting, we preferred the food in the buffet. At lunch time we preferred going to the Italian for the late lunch from 2pm, has pizzas burgers hot dogs which was a nice change from the lunch at the buffet. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The pool is quite cold - best to just jump straight in and soon get used to it. We walked along the beach to the local town, took about 45mins, you just go onto the beach and follow it to the right until you see a lighthouse, a bit before the lighthouse is a bridge, just walk over that and you are there. There is a market on there on Mondays and Thursdays - mainly just handbags, purses etc. I would definitely recommend to climb up the mountain in front of the hotel, the views are breath-taking. Take some walnuts with you from breakfast and feed the chipmunks at the top, they are so cute and friendly and eat out of your hand - really made it worth the climb along with the views. Service was 5 star, all staff work very hard and are always friendly. I had emailed prior to our arrival to say we would be celebrating our anniversary there, they said they would arrange something special. On arrival to our room we had a bottle of red wine waiting and a fruit basket, then again on our anniversary they bought us another fruit basket to our room. They also booked us into the canarian restaurant - our table was decorated with petals and had some fizz on ice waiting for us, it was such a nice touch, and all this at no cost! I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would return in the future.More

Fantastic all inclusive hotel - great for kids and teens

Stayed here for 10 days in July - family of 5. We have stayed in a number of all inclusive resorts previously but this is the first one where it really was all inclusive - there is no concept of there being one or two cocktails/drinks included but for a "premium" you can buy others. The rep put it brilliantly in the welcome meeting - "if you see something out - it is for you!". The food was excellent- the Magico restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Always freshly cooked and lots of variety. Wife is vegetarian and there was always plenty of choice. We also tried the Italian and Canarian restaurant - both were very good. Pool snack bar was also nice, especially as a break from eating a full sit down meal. As was the Italian restaurant mid afternoon - provided a nice opportunity to sit outside and have lunch, Kids clubs were excellent - we had kids in each of the age ranges and after a few days they decided to join in. We then couldn't stop them joining for the remainder of the holiday. In particular this was the first holiday which we felt really catered for our eldest son who joined into the teen club.. Rooms were cleaned daily and the overall appearance of the hotel/complex was excellent - constant clearing and tidying of rubbish around the pool area made a difference especially as the wind at times would lift rubbish from the bins if they were over filled. As others have noted the hotel is quite isolated - we did take a taxi into the local town and visited the African market which was nice. Also me and son climbed the hill behind the hotel - fantastic views at the top although the walk up and down was quite a trek in the heat. Only downside - the pools are freezing. Perhaps exacerbated by the wind however at times, even later in the afternoon, the kids would be almost be blue in the pool. not sure if there is anything that can be done - especially given the size of the main pool. Overall - a fantastic stay and certainly a hotel we will look forward to returning to in the future.More
