5 outdoor pools

It's all about the pools here, and it's no wonder. Not only can you grab yourself a prime spot for a sea view, but each pool has a pergola area with sunbeds, great for cooling off on those lazy days. There's one that's for adults only, too.

Magic Mungo Club

This is definitely the place to be. With parties, games, pool games, shows, picnics and a great playground, there's plenty to keep the little ones well entertained. For ages 3 to 6 years, available 6 days a week.

El Gusto restaurant

Choose from a great range of Spanish and Canarian dishes for dinner. You'll get 1 visit here per week included in your All Inclusive. This place is only open on select days, so you'll need to reserve a table 24-hours ahead. Gentlemen are required to wear full-length trousers for dinner.

Worst holiday ever

Flight was brilliant. Arrived late at night to discover that the two rooms we has asked to be next to each other were on different floors. When we booked we were told the family room had a bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. But no my 20 year old daughter was in the same room as her 18 and 14 year old brothers. So I had to stay with my sons. The sofa bed is just about big enough for an 11 year old but we had paid for 5 adults. It was effectively a zed bed with a thin mattress. Really not suitable for any of us to sleep on. This was the most expensive holiday I have ever paid for and the worst ever. I really wish I could give no stars. The worst part. I'm still there and the hotel will do nothing and the rep is powerless. I really want to go home. I would say avoid but it would probably suit young families or couples. More

Not great ........

Don't even bother asking for a late check out room !! We asked almost every day for 2 weeks if we could extend our room as we had a late flight home and were told to come back the day before flight to arrange it. Went back at 7am the day before flight and was told "sorry no rooms available" !! Very bad service and organisation of hotel reception. Evening entertainment very disappointing. Entertainment team do a great job but it wasn't my idea of fun to sit on plastic chairs in rows (with no drinks allowed) from 9.30pm to 10.30pm and then scramble for a chair in the Plaza bar afterwards. Room ok but needs updating. On a positive note the food was amazing. More

Could be better...

Just returned from a week here. The beginning of the week was extremely windy so be prepared. Pros: -food nice in buffet restaurant. Lots of choice. - always plenty of sun loungers - rooms are a nice size - liked the a la cartes. Grill and Italian our favourite. - fridges around the hotel with water in which you can help yourself too. -wine on the table at night which they can change if you don't want red. -lots of sporting activities going on throughout the day. Cons: - air con centrally controlled. This was fine when it wasn't too hot but towards the end of the week the room was baking and hard to sleep. - pool towels, ridiculously small. Take your own!! - stained bed sheets, room not cleaned very well, thin, rough towels in room . -chipped tiles around the pool area so try not to walk bare footed. - evening entertainment. Not our kind of thing. Didn't really understand if we were watching a comedy show or a dance show! All in all it was an OK week alway but not really for us. The area was very quiet so nothing nearby. good value but a little remote

Arrived on 23/7/2016 with my daughter, fiancé and granddaughter who is 6. Late check in which was very quick told to leave our luggage, they would take it to the room, and to go to the restaurant for something to eat. Rooms are large and well furnished, very clean, maids come in every day. Disappointed with tv only has BBC news on it plenty of German channels. The Buffet restaurant is excellent various choices each day even a gluten free table could be a little hotter. There is also an adult only area. The staff are very good constantly clearing tables and at night the maitre d pointed out where the tables were empty. There are 3 other restaurants as well you can book in the morning for the next day. There are 2 main bars one in reception which is open 24 hours, quiet up there, the Plaza Bar is open until 2am. Can be quite noisy but once in your room you can't hear. Sometimes the entertainment is on there this is where this hotel is let down. It is the same thing nearly every night (dance shows) from the entertainment staff. Even my 6 year old got bored. The Plaza Bar gets very busy especially when it is windy, be careful where you sit my daughter was verbally abused by some Russians, should have complained really. Now to the pools which are very good, clean and shallow enough at the outer edge to allow children to play safely, the pool next to the big one is where the aerobics and aqua spin classes are done, which looked very good. The big pool is surrounded by plenty of sunbeds with free pool towels, the are 2 pool bars with1 snack bar. Now to the beach which is unspoilt and the ocean is very clear, no sunbeds BUT the steps down are very steep and dangerous with only a rope to hold onto. If you are elderly, infirm or young BEWARE, it is such a same. Overall this hotel is lovely except for steps everywhere and it's too remote there is nowhere to walk outside except up a mountain. Make sure you take a cardigan with you the wind can be very coldMore

Still Fab :)

Arrived 03/08 - lovely and hot but windy as usual. Smooth check-in, room not immediately available so went and had a lovely lunch in the Italian, the freshly made Pizzas are superb. Massive thanks Natalie for sorting out our room request <3. We come here mainly for the archery so great to be back with our old friend Ivo and new friend Michael. The additional archery sessions for experienced archers and the floodlit "dartchery" is brilliant. Looking forward to White Night and a boogie in the Plaza Bar. Staff universally friendly and helpful. Food and drink are great as always. DCMore
