seventh visit just gets better
We went for another break in late February for a fortnight and were not disappointed. Our room was fabulous with a dual aspect balcony overlooking the sea and great unobtrusive room service daily. The menu and standards of food in the Magico restaurant and the lunchtime al fresco venue were as ever delightful, and in fact we did not go to the a la carte restaurants as we just did not feel the need. A more tranquil child free section of the Magico has been opened which we used gratefully Other improvements added since our last visit included better furniture in the foyer for our evening post dinner reading and scrabble games. If however you want your holiday to include sauntering around shops and bars you need to consider these amenities are not close to hand. I would like to see improvements to the gym equipment and spinning bikes , but the daily activities and the quality of the instructors give Club Magic Life the edge over other hotels and are the reason we will return for an eight times break, and Im looking forward to that. Thank you Club Magic Life staffMore
The fact this was our third visit to this hotel probably speaks for itself. The value for money continues to be remarkable. There is just so much going on here from all sorts & levels of sporting activities, poolside activities or just general relaxing in the sunshine that time flies by. The food continues to be outstanding for an all inc package & the service in the bar areas is remarkable in its speed & friendliness considering the large numbers of guests. On this occassion we have never seen the beach area & hotel so busy in our 20+ years of visits to the area. Obviously, with various political issues the holiday choices are more limited this year. The hotel however ran superbly despite the fact it was at full capacity. The beach area by the hotel was busy but walk 20 minutes to the left & you are soon into much quieter areas. You can also walk along to Jandia but take care for a short while at high tide times. The hotel is run by the Austrian branch of TUI & the guests & staff are a international mix all of whom it was a pleasure to meet.More
My partner and i have just returned from a 7 night stay and did not want to leave! I was worried about the weather not being great but it was HOT!! The rooms were clean and comfortable however No Tea/coffee facility in the room which was disappointing. The pool areas were great you could choose either a lively or quiet location to sunbathe. Beach was beautiful however a bit of a walk and nudists! We usually enjoy snorkelling however nothing to see here. The food was plentiful, lots of choice day and night. The a la carte restaurants were a bit of a let down. Still a good standard just not as good as what we have had on other holidays. However food cooked well and great service. Animation/Theatre not talented. Very poorly rehearsed and quite boring not professional. The bar good choice of drinks, excellent idea having a bottle of wine on every table with dinner too! The plaza bar seats are very uncomfortable! Hard backs with no cushions. This could easily be fixed! Overall a good cheap last minute holiday. We would return!!More
Great winter break
We had a fab winter break here. 2 adults and 2 children on our booking. We had a family room with interconnecting doors, huge which gave us plenty of room as a family. Two bathrooms were a bonus! Plenty for us all to do and keep us all entertained. There was something for all of us food wise aswell. The only one gripe we had was the long queue we had when checking in at 9pm after a long day travelling with two very small children (4 and 1). And then food wasn't available for us until 10.30 by which time the children were extremely tired. Luckily the rocky start didn't affect the rest of our stay.More
Have just come back after 10 days. More than happy with this hotel good choice of food, clean, relaxed and something for everyone. Suits couples and families alike. Only one surly member of staff at reception when we were checking out, all others were delightful. Will return to this hotel againMore
