I cant say enough about the level of service we experienced at this hotel, all of the staff were wonderful and could not do enough for us. The hotel is looking a bit dated, however they are going to be spending 40 million to upgrade the hotel and facilities. We will be booking again.More

We travelled as a family of 6. 4 adults and 2 children. On arrival in mine and my husbands room the aircon wasn't working which honestly felt like hell on earth as it was 30 degrees and the middle of the night. The next morning as soon as the reception were made aware they sorted it out with no bother. The hotel itself is basic and would have been at its peak in the 80's but it was fine for us. There are 2 pools and the quieter pool was our salvation. The drinks at the pool bar are fine, some of the bar staff are so severe it can be uncomfortable but it takes all sorts I suppose! You will never get the same "special" cocktail in any of the 3 bars so be prepared for some surprises! All in all it did what it said on the tin and we had a lovely holidayMore
Great holiday once again
I'm very late reviewing my stay at the Louis Colossos, just been busy but could not miss reviewing my 4th stay here. What can I say it's like coming home, so many hugs and kisses from our lovely friends here. There's, Andrulla, Elinor and Luca on reception, Ireni on the pool bar, Eleni on the beach bar, Anna in the lunchtime restaurant, Petros in the small main restaurant Andrea in the upstairs coffee and cake bar, yummy, and of course Mr George who never passes you without speaking, there is many many more happy smiling faces to greet you. ð¤ð¤ I can't not mention Carol & Ken who we meet up with each year xð ð not forgetting Mac & Cathy ð Yes, the place is in need of a bit if TLC ( which we heard is going to commence at the end of the 2016 season) but the happy staff make up for that. But the choice of things to eat is still amazing, breakfast, noon and night. There's so much choice for breakfast it takes 10/15 minutes to decide what to have to eat ð¤ The same goes for the evening ð Our favourite is the barbecue and pizza's for lunch.ðð there's also coffee with pastries, cake and biscuits at 4.30 and sandwiches etc at 10.30, if you can't find anything to fill you up then you have to be a really fussy eater ð.More
Delivers what it promises!
This is a large, no-nonsense all-inclusive package tour hotel which is set to be refurbished and otherwise improved from next year onwards. Considering its size and how much it charges, it delivers pretty well. Management is on the ball, staff are pleasant, facilities impressive, the beach location is fine and the food not at all bad - nor boring. We certainly enjoyed our week there in late September and used it as a convenient base to get into Rhodes town (marvellous!) and tour the rest of the island.More
Fantastic for the family
This is an all inclusive hotel with all of the amenities you need for a family holiday. Our check in was quick and the staff speak English very well. It would have been handy to know there was water in the fridge and the meal times were a little complicated, so a welcome flyer would have been nice. Waking up to the beach/sea view was wonderful. The air con wasn't wonderful, so it got a bit warm in the room, but we didn't pay extra for it, and the night sea breeze kept us comfortable. We had two rooms between the 5 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 9 year old), and they were perfectly spacious. There were plenty of plug sockets and the showers were nice and powerful. Maids came every day except Sunday and replaced the towels, the sheets were changed every few days. The maids were lovely and though they didn't speak English, they gathered that we weren't early risers and left our rooms until after 10. They also provided extra pillows. The three pools were great, if a bit cold. There were always drinks available inside and outside the hotel, and on the beach, and the children didn't have any problems fetching their own, the staff were very friendly to them. The food was mostly fresh, although some was repeated from lunch to dinner. If we wanted freshly cooked food, we had pizza, Chinese food, bbq food from the beach and the "special" dish of the evening, all of which you could see being cooked in front of you. There was plenty of choice. And although the all inclusive wristband ran out at 1am, drinks were available after that time for a few euros. There was also a shop on site, which stocked everything you could possibly need for your stay. One issue we encountered (with teenagers), was the lack of WiFi. In this day and age, WiFi should be available at all hotels. We used one of the hotel's computers at one point, but the Internet was very slow, so it wasn't an experience we repeated. I truly hope that when this hotel has its planned refurbished, they bring it up to date with WiFi. All in all, I think we experienced very good value for money. The staff were all very friendly to myself and my family, though I did notice they weren't so responsive to some people who showed no manners. Quite frankly, I didn't blame them, it doesn't take much to say please and thank you, and a smile costs nothing. We had a great time. The bus service from the hotel was reliable, so we went out a few times. The water park was across the road, so we walked there, it was a great day out. I'd thoroughly recommend this hotel. I look forward to seeing what they achieve with the impending refurbishment, but I'd take the family again, even if it wasn't being redone.More
