Rooms need updating, but fantastic everything else.
We are a family with two teenagers and had two twin rooms (next to each other) in the main building. The air con is old, very poor and very noisy so had little sleep all week. The rooms are in need of updating but are clean and comfortable. The food was fantastic, lots of selections and overall we ate way too much. Diet starts today!! Never had a problem finding a table either outside or inside, all tables were cleared and set straight away. The pool areas are lovely and clean, overall the hotel staff work very hard. The kids made friends and had a great time. Lilos are a must for the pool and the sea, as well as a snorkel. The sea was lovely and clear and warm. The wifi was by all counts poor, but our two used it happily each evening and were prepared for a slow connection and did not complain. We booked last minute with First Choice so paid more than we needed to, personally it was a lot for the quality of the rooms, but everything else about the resort made up for it. Having read the reviews I was a bit sceptical as to what we would experience, but we all had a great time, and would happily stay here again. Although would try and book a superior room in the newer parts of the hotel. My one piece of advice would be, you need to use bottled water for cleaning teeth as the hotel tap water has a distinctive salty asset to it, we filled water bottles from the water machines each day just for this purpose. But I guess that may be a Greek thing rather than a hotel thing.More

Great time but. ..
The good news is that in two years there will be a complete renovation so in 2017 Summer you really have to book at this hotel. The staff very kind from the cleaners to the managers. They are trying hard for the customers to have pleasant holidays. The breakfast buffet has a great variety and tasteful also. The dinner buffet also. The animation team is okay but they could be better for example the songs they sung were unknown and probably from past decades. For Greek travelers there is a problem with the TV channels but they will solve it with the renovation. The beach in front is very nice and with a lot of water sports. The location is also very nice not far from the airport , the old city , Falkirk .I will try it for sure the because of their hospitality.More

Great hotel but First Choice dumped us
This hotel's great, the upgraded beds are so good to sleep on and the all inclusive meals have huge variety for all tastes. Despite the languages, the staff are easy to talk with. Fast boats to Rhodes and Lindos go from the hotel's beach. Cars can be rented at the hotel. The hotel provides a free room for a shower and change if you have a late flight - no need to pay First Choice. Our only niggle was that the public-area internet, which attracts a fee, is slow to non-existent. Our biggest issue was not the hotel's fault - First Choice's free transfer bus didn't collect us so we had to get a taxi to the airport and there was nobody from First Choice to meet us there so an Olympic Airways rep helped out. I'm still waiting for a refund of my taxi fare.More

Well what can I say if anybody on here has said this is a good place to stop you obviously need your eyes looking at. Me my partner and child have just spent a week here and I can say it's the worst place I have ever stayed this is no 4star hotel. So where do I start the rooms,we payed for a double room and full sea view instead we got 2 single beds pushed together and our child's bed was basically a lounger with all the slots broken and snapped, our view was no sea view it was a partial sea view because standing up too see the sea does not count. Food,if u like bland food and the same things everyday then you will be happy with what they have to offer the nicest thing was the bbq by the beach, but what did it for us was when I asked the waiter for some spoons for the dessert and he thinks it appropriate to go over where they keep the dirty cutlery and wipe a hand full of dirty spoons on dirty table cloths thinking no one had saw him it was only till I watched him go back over to put the dirty spoons in the basket that I said something to him. We was absolutely disgusted to think people pay a lot of money for there holiday and you have people thinking it's ok to do stuff like that where children have to eat. We got the main manager down George and he couldn't apologise and do enough for us he gave us champagne and fruit for our room free wifi, free massages, late checkout and other stuff, but that just done it for us we did not eat in there for the remainder of our holiday. Staff, we found the staff very rude like somebody else said on here if you went to order a drink if your British then sorry you will have to wait because they think it's ok to leave you standing there until they feel the need to serve you, we also watched the groundsmen who waters the plants everyday think it's ok to use the hose pipe as his own personal mouth cleaner then gargle and spit the water all over the floor hygiene friendly I don't think so. Some people are happy to come and stay here and some people will say why do you always get people who moan there's nothing wrong with this place but like I said you need your eyes checking and taste buds. People pay a lot of money to go away once a year so you expect it to be a pleasant experience and one to remember so I would defiantly not recommend this as a place to stay.More

Perfect eyes and taste buds
This hotel needs renovating true, but the staff are probably some of the best and happiest I have seen in recent years on my holidays. The food was average at breakfast but very good at lunch but sometimes very poor in the evening. The bar staff are always smiling and where very pleased to hear you use some greek words and make an effort to interact. They would always ask who's next and usually the foreigners would be the first to speak up.If you want to stand there and be British and say nothing you will always be railroaded by other nationalities anyone who does that you only have yourselves to blame.Speak up and you will get served. You are in a foreign country and the rules are different. We met some very nice people from Holland and Belgium and miss them dearly. This is a hotel that is made by the staff.Stop coming on here moaning about stone balconies and realize its the people that make your holiday, not concrete! Greece every year now!!!More
