This hotel is going to be renovated this winter, and it so needs it
The staff and facilities of this hotel are very nice, the view is fantastic and the rooms are in working order and ok. The bathrooms have lots of rust, but its survivable. it is just that the carpets in the hallways are so dirty and smelly, honestly, I have never seen something like that before. The food is also not very tasty. Overall, its more like 2 star rather than 4.More
Very good hotel
We had a lovely holiday here , hotel staff are very friendly , hotel very clean and thanks to Anna the hotel cleaner we had room 510 and 512 and she kept both rooms spotless. The food was good , alittle repetitive but good and the baroqued chicken at lunch was amazing an absolute must to try .The hotel is being upgraded in Oct and must say I would absolutely recommend it and we definitely would go back here to see the new refurbishment . Forgot to say as well the animation team where also very good and to those people who have complained , honestly don't know what you want out of a holiday but this was definitely an enjoyable one for us and Thankyou to all the staff for making it one xMore

Great Hotel and Staff
This is a great hotel, yes parts of it are in need of a refurb, that its getting over the winter, but the main areas are fine. The family room we booked was big and comfortable enough for 2 adults and two kids (13 and 9).... The hotel was clean in all areas. There were always cleaners in the main areas. The Animation team were very good, plenty of activities. The food was brilliant, plenty of choice at Breakfast, Dinner and Tea, plus lots of things in-between. Good choice of drinks and plenty of places to get them. The afternoon tea with fresh cooked pastries was great. We were there for 14 days and could've stayed for another 14 days without getting bored with the choice or things to do. There are extensive watersports right on the beach. Boat trips leave from the beach. The Islands Waterpark is literally across the road from the hotel entrance. Without exception all the staff were brilliant. Very helpful, polite, friendly and keen to help. Especially Fortios in the main Hotel Bar, top bloke. There is a basic gym, thats adequate for a workout with weights or cardio and the guy running it does fantastic massage. I know lots that had one and all gave him 10/10. I've read some bad reviews and I think some people just like moaning. This isn't the Ritz or Dorchester Hotel, its a nice, fun, 4 Star Greek Hotel. Its Reasonably Priced and better than I expected from the review I'd read. Once its been refurbished for next season, with the planned on site waterpark and new family rooms, it should be even better. I'd have no hesitation going back and the kids already want me to book for next year.More

Poor Standards Let This Hotel Down.
I'll keep this review short in order to maintain a semblance of objectivity. I found the standard of hygiene in this hotel to be so poor that I immediately went to see my rep to request a move to another location. Upon entering the room, it smelt as if it had been mopped out with a dirty mop and water. The shower head was hanging off the wall because the piece of cardboard that they had used to wedge it in had come loose. The floor on which we stayed smelt as if bins had not been emptied. The carpets in the hallway were filthy and stained. The stairway was never cleaned and on the first floor stairwell, there were blood splatters on the wall and empty glasses and cans the were not removed during my entire stay. The best that the rep could do for us was procure another room. If you are paying for a sea view, be warned, the balconies are solid. If you harbour hopes of sitting down and enjoying the view you will not be able to because you will not be able to see over the balcony. I'm 6 feet four and I couldn't so it's a waste of money. The hire of a key for the safe in your room will set you back 27 Euros and and hour on the wi fi will set you back 5 Euros. Absolutely disgraceful as having spent the last few years in Croatia such things come as standard. The hotel itself, if you ignore the hygiene issues is perfectly fine. I was told by a member of staff that it is due a complete refurbishment this year, from which it would greatly benefit. The food is more than acceptable and a decent standard but even by all inclusive standards, dining is a little stressful. They publish peak dining time information, with the intention of getting you to dine in quieter periods. This means inevitably that you will go towards the end of the service, but be warned, if they say breakfast finishes at ten, they mean it as they start withdrawing food at ten to the hour. By ten, it has all been removed. I also found that the reception staff will try to assist you if you have a complaint. They did so twice for me, once by providing a more suitable room and once by sorting out a late check out. There appears to be confusion over the rules regarding this service that they offer at a fee. My understanding is that you can pay for a late check out, but only if your room is not being turned around on the same day. Irrespective, the reception staff went above and beyond in sorting this issue out for me and they are a credit to the hotel. The refurbishment cannot come soon enough for this resort especially as it is situated among some higher end resorts. Its four star rating is misleading at best. I would say it's a two star at the most. I'm sure this hotel will suit many people, but I've stayed at better places for a fraction more. I don't buy the refurbishment excuse. Places can be old, but they need to be clean and everything needs to work. If you offer it for public consumption that should be the minimum requirement. My advice, avoid this hotel until the work hs been done.More
