Book somewhere else!!

Arrived at 2AM in the morning. Receptionist was very rude and impatient. He was not welcoming. Went up to our room to find it baking hot and to find two single beds and a camp bed. We were not expecting a camp bed. We thought it would be three normal beds. The air conditioning wasn't work well so we went down to complain. He sent a guy up to look at it and we got told it was fine. At this point I thought he was taking the mick as it was bloody boiling and even he was sweating. You don't get a sunbed unless you get up early (6AM) which is ridiculous! The food is literally all the same. It may say a theme such as Chinese but it really isn't Chinese. By the end of this holiday we we're bored of eating chips and pasta all day! Getting served for drinks in the evening was interesting. Even though we were all inclusive the lady serving wouldn't pour us drinks as we 'had enough' we we're not drunk so therefore I could not understand why not. Overall, I would recommend that you don't go here and go somewhere else. It was not worth £500 which is what we paid!! More

Definitely would not return

Firstly the view was brilliant however we did pay extra for sea view and would have been gutted if we hadn't. Hotel was too big to accommodate the ammount of people there. Not enough sunbeds unless your prepared to get up at 5am to put your towel down. Being charged for a 'deposit box' not being told we would not get the money back. They charge for sunbeds at the beach despite the fact they take them from the hotel if they don't have enough there. Limit the ammount of drinks you can have despite being all inclusive and Hotel rooms weren't the cleanest and overall this hotel could do with updating. Would not return! More

Fab holiday!

Overall we had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were dated however everything was clean and kept tidy by the cleaning staff of the hotel. We stayed on the 6th floor and had amazing views over the sea and our air conditioning was fantastic, this was definitely a necessity in July!! The food was good, and there was enough choice to suit everyone. The pizza was incredible and the lunch time BBQ and Chinese style food was very good too. At lunchtimes it did get busy so sometimes finding a table to sit at outside was difficult however there was also inside seating. The outside space at the hotel was fantastic with two big pools and the beach just meters away! The only trouble was there wasn't enough sun beds for all so it required an early wake up or sneaky late night towel put down in order to have a bed for the day. The staff were incredible and extremely accommodating - they couldn't do enough for you. They were also excellent with children with activities and games for them to take part in as well as a kids club in the evening. The entertainment in the evening was a bit repetitive but still enjoyable! Overall I think this hotel was great. It had a fantastic location and great outdoor space. I will be interested to see the hotel when it's been renovated which I believe to be happening in the near future as I feel then the hotel will be fantastic- The rooms just need a good spruce up! Excellent staff

The staff at this resort are what makes it! The hotel is a bit dated and needs a face lift but the staff are fab! They are polite, helpful and fun! Entertainment is a bit repetitive but the Greek night is great! Serious bum fights to get a poolside lounger in peek season, ended up sneaking down at 2am to avoid having to get up at 5-6 am to secure one! The food was nice but again quite Samey. Air con was terrible in our room even after we had it looked at but we met another couple who had to wrap up at night as theirs is so cold so I would recommend asking for a cool room if you have issues sleeping in the heat. Overall a good holiday felt relaxed and sun kissed but would look at one of the newer ones next time. They are about to Renovate though so I would be interested to see how it looks then! More

Rhodes is a beautioful island but go to a different hotel rather than Louis collossos

Lots of stuff you have to pay extra for: beds on the beach (but not the pool), a safe in your room, drinks you have to pay for after midnight and beach towels are not included. Also wifi you have to pay for and it was quite expensive! If you cannot survive for longer than a day without wifi and want to spend a lot of money each day for internet, do not go here. However i am a 16 year old girl with my 18 year old brother and my two parents who love social media and the internet, we survived very well without it and barley touched my phone for two weeks. i think it may have actually made me enjoy my holiday more. The food is ok. There is the same salad stuff every day but it seemed quite nice so you can mix it up. Breakfast was very nice with cereal, cooked breakfast, sometimes there were pancakes, and a selection of fruit. For lunch there was either the BBQ on the beach or the Chinese (both of these I enjoyed). Other that these at lunch is the salads and 5-8 different hot plates which had different meats, vegetables, potato, rice or pastas with different sauces - these were all nice but what was a shame was there was a very small choice. Also there was your choice of pizzas (these are not great), spaghetti with bolognaise and chips. At dinner there was about 8-10 hot plates generally different from lunch, however some of these plates would be quite similar from day to day with maybe 3-4 varying dishes. I thought the puddings were pretty nice and really enjoyed the different warm desert they put out every day. Overall it was nice but there was little variation and choices. I went in early July before the swarm of the main summer holidays rush. But even without the busiest the hotel there was always a hunt for the last stray sunbeds and the restaurant was always full with barley any empty tables. Therefore if you are planning to go in the heat of the summer season then good luck with finding sunbeds and a table at diner. Even though the cleaning staff were always very sweet and greeted you every morning with and happy hello, the rooms are not well kept. I found clumps of hair all over my carpet and dust covered on of the surfaces where you put your shoes. I don't think the room was cleaned once (even hovered) in the 2 weeks I was there. However the location was lovely and I loved the beach. Bring a good pair of flip flops because the sand is too hot to walk on. Also along the water it is all stones and is very hard to walk on. I tried to go for a walk one day with my mum and it hurt our feet too much to walk along the water front and the sand was too hot to walk on. Bing goggles or a snorkel because there are lovely fish and a small reef you can swim to and admire. I did this every day! Overall if you are a late night partier, love lounging in your luxurious room or an internet addict, this hotel is not for you. I found the hotel a shock when I first arrived and wanted to go home or transfer hotels but after a couple of days when you get used to the hotel it turned out ok. My holiday only really consists of lying on the beach, eating in-between and spending as little amount of time in my room as possible so in the end i had a very enjoyable holiday. This review is not very positive though because i want you not to be as surprised and disappointed when i got there as i was. if you are looking for a more luxury holiday though, don't go here. Finally Rhodes is a beautiful island! We did two days out to the Old Rhodes town with lots of cobbled streets and tourist shops with very friendly people. Also we went to the very south tip of the island where there is a beautiful sandy beach where the Aegean and Mediterranean seas meet and there are lots of water sports you can do there. This is a great destination but maybe choose a different hotel along the coast, but not this one.More
