The Louis Colossos Beach is set right on Kalithea’s stretch of sand and shingle. It’s also in a prime spot for exploring – Rhodes Town is only 10 minutes away.
This place has a top location, right on Kalithea’s sand-and-shingle beach. It’s only a 10-minute drive from all the action in Rhodes Town, too – and there’s a bus stop and taxi rank just outside the hotel.
Set just behind the beach are two pools, plus a cluster of lunch and snack spots. Bedrooms are nice and spacious, and they all come with a balcony or terrace – upgrade and you’ll get a sea view, too.

Great holiday once again
I'm very late reviewing my stay at the Louis Colossos, just been busy but could not miss reviewing my 4th stay here. What can I say it's like coming home, so many hugs and kisses from our lovely friends here. There's, Andrulla, Elinor and Luca on reception, Ireni on the pool bar, Eleni on the beach bar, Anna in the lunchtime restaurant, Petros in the small main restaurant Andrea in the upstairs coffee and cake bar, yummy, and of course Mr George who never passes you without speaking, there is many many more happy smiling faces to greet you. ð¤ð¤ I can't not mention Carol & Ken who we meet up with each year xð ð not forgetting Mac & Cathy ð Yes, the place is in need of a bit if TLC ( which we heard is going to commence at the end of the 2016 season) but the happy staff make up for that. But the choice of things to eat is still amazing, breakfast, noon and night. There's so much choice for breakfast it takes 10/15 minutes to decide what to have to eat ð¤ The same goes for the evening ð Our favourite is the barbecue and pizza's for lunch.ðð there's also coffee with pastries, cake and biscuits at 4.30 and sandwiches etc at 10.30, if you can't find anything to fill you up then you have to be a really fussy eater ð.More
Delivers what it promises!
This is a large, no-nonsense all-inclusive package tour hotel which is set to be refurbished and otherwise improved from next year onwards. Considering its size and how much it charges, it delivers pretty well. Management is on the ball, staff are pleasant, facilities impressive, the beach location is fine and the food not at all bad - nor boring. We certainly enjoyed our week there in late September and used it as a convenient base to get into Rhodes town (marvellous!) and tour the rest of the island.More
Ignore the haters - I enjoyed my stay
Firstly I don't believe this hotel deserves the slating it gets in some reviews ! Yes it's a bit dated but that's about it ! Each staff member I came into contact with was extremely helpful and friendly and I really enjoyed my stay. Rooms - the rooms are spacious enough for 2-3 people and basically when people say their rooms are dirty, their not dirty and the maid did a fabulous job but basically their stained - Asin your mirror may have rust stain etc but to me a room is just a base to wash and sleep, I spend the rest of the time exploring and relaxing outside Area - the beach is a absolutely fab - defiantly bring your googles, I saw octopus and various other fish in the sea, the beach is filled with various places selling water sport activities which I did and the crazy ufo is hilarious, it's right by a water park and a few shops, water park is great fun - worth a visit for sure ! Pool - the pool was spotless, very cold tho, go in the pool first then make a dash for the sea, the sea feels like a bath! Food - I'm not fussy with food and I do love my food, breakfast was fab, various egg dishes and Greek style yoghurt - my fave! Bacon, sausages, fresh bread, beans ! Lunch had various meats, bolognese, salad stuff - fresh pizza! Tea was very similar, had lovely lasagne dishes etc! And these people saying food is cold I did not encounter one cold peice of food, there's even a microwave there if you do feel that your foods cold! Location - 30 min bus to Rhodes town, 5 min taxi to falaraki - I don't drink but visited falaraki when the sun would set to play crazy golf with my partner and have an ice cream from an amazing shop! £3 each for 2 ginormous scoops of ice cream! If you like crazy golf and shops defiantly visit falaraki! Lindos is an hour journey away; the Acropolis is okay if you like history, I went to visit St. Paul's bay which had good fish etc if you brought googles and seemed like the Maldives with crystal clear water and white sand ! Lindos beach is also beautiful! You can get a boat trip there from outside the hotel for 26 euro each with a return or a bus costs around 10 each including your return ! The boat claims to take 55 mins - 5 mins shorter than the bus which is why we choose the boat as we could sit in the sun too but it took 1 hour 40!! So defiantly take the bus ! Seats are uncomfortable on the boat too! Overall this hotel is tired but is due to be renovated but what it has to offer is fab! Plenty of variety of drinks, lots of bars, tennis, a gym, table tennis, pool tables!! I'd go again ! More

Are people on here serious about this hotel!!!!
2grand I had to pay to suffer this awful place. We arrived last week in September 2015 Was late when we arrived. Asked if welcomed get a cold drink as we had a long trip and was said no everything is closed. We went to our room 2nd floor opened the door and thought omg what is this. Looked to see if any condiments but none available. Did eventually find fridge with1.5 ltr of bottled water which me my husband and son drank. Too tired to complain we just dripped cases and tried to get some sleep. Woke up in the morning went to go in bathroom and didn't notice little step going into bathroom and tripped just able to catch myself on sink. Asked for bottled water as we had ran out of fridge and was told was 3 euro to replace All inclusive!!!! I cut my ankle on tiles that was sticking out which was holding up the aircon as seen pics I've put up. Our beds was the most dirtiest uncomfortable beds I have Ever slept on.don't worry you can get bittersweet on the sunbeds which cost 3 euro each per day!!! If you're brave enough to eat in the restaurant and like your food cold reheated and used over again enjoy your time at a & e!!! If you book like us to use the waterpark opposite don't waste your money and stay here as the waterpark has failed British health and safety and our rep wouldn't sell us tickets. We found the staff very rude, didn't have anytime for you and grumpy. The only thing I did like was Rhodes Town and the food was amazing very friendly people.we spent another 900euros to eat out so if you want a cheap holiday go to the carabian as you get first class all the way for the same price!! Happy holidays everyone!!! More
