    The highly recommended Kaiserhof is a superb hotel in an extremely convenient location.

    Situated adjacent to the Hahnenkamm gondola station, the hotel provides unrivalled access to the many mountain trails. For people wishing to explore more of the local and surrounding area, it's also just a few minutes from the centre of the historic old town, with its bus and train stations.

    Comfort and class is apparent throughout the Hotel Kaiserhof, from the Swiss stone pine furniture adorning all of the rooms, to the split-level spa and wellness area. The Kaiserhof also delivers on service, with a strong reputation for professional yet friendly staff who are eager to please.

    Just so you know, upon arrival and departure, the coach may not be able to reach the hotel. In this case, you will have a 2-3 minute walk uphill on arrival to the hotel. Please advise at time of booking if this will cause a problem.

    Please note that safety standards around balconies, railings and public walkways are different in Austria and may be lower or have ornamental features that you wouldn’t see in the UK or Ireland.

    So welcoming - and so convenient

    Everything is within walking distance of this lovely gem, yet the staff did everything in their considerable power to make my stay even easier and more pleasant. I stayed an extra night, changing rooms, which they did seamlessly. They all knew me by name, and treated me as a VIP (which I am not!). The food was fresh and creative and surprising - tiring of meat after several days, I had eggplant piccata which was divine. I came home in the afternoons a sweaty mess from coming down the Hahnenkamm, and walk just a few steps into heaven. I'd love to come back.

    Cozy and clean with the best food ever! Located ten steps away from the last ski run of the day - with a great ski equipment room- right beside the Gondola- walking distance into the village - did I mention how amazing the food was?

    Having travelled around the world in recent years, the Kaiserhof is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Staff very friendly and most helpful. Room immaculate. Breakfast and evening meals superb (recommend half-Board terms for 5-course dinner). Very conveniently located for both ski school and railway station (approx 200m uphill to hotel) as well as Hahnenkamm gondola lift. Town centre easy walking distance. Swimming pool adequate, 1.5 m depth approx throughout.

    A few takeaways from my recent stay (November 2019): - The hotel is located at the base of Hahnenkamm, a legendary ski mountain. It is a very short (~5 minutes) walk from the city center of Kitz. The location could not be better. - A delicious breakfast buffet is included in the rate, and the dining service is first-class. Guests have the option to be seated for dinner, which is also wonderful. - The spa is tremendous, with multiple saunas, a steam room, and a few quiet and well-appointed sitting/reading/lounging areas. - All rooms have spacious balconies, comfortable beds, and spotless bathrooms. The pinewood cabinets and furniture fits perfectly into the ski town feel. - Throughout the hotel, staff is multilingual and approachable. As someone who is not fluent in German, this was much appreciated!

    For us, there was nothing to dislike about this hotel. Stayed four nights and enjoyed every one. The hotel location was ideal and from our balcony we looked straight up at the Hahnenkamm cable car. Very large selection at breakfast and it would be easy to have a different combination every day. We only ate dinner in the hotel on our first night to try the chef 5 course that were very tasty. This is one of those hotels where you're happy to return to a welcoming base after a big day out, which is not always the case. Nothing more to say really. Food, location, staff, quality, all very good. If we return to Kitzbuehel, we'll return to the Kaiserhof. Thank you to the staff and management. And thanks to weather that was in our side all the days stayed.
