TUI BLUE Atlantica Imperial Resort

Just returned from a weeks holiday at this amazing hotel. When we arrived we was welcomed with a glass of champagne as we was checking in, we was then took to our room. Lovely spacious room with a mini fridge, slippers & robe, we also had a welcome pack that had gloves, hand sanitiser & a mask in. Rooms were cleaned every other day with fresh towels, bedding & stocked up mini fridge. When going to the restaurant you have to wear a mask and sanitise your hands before you go in, there is also a screen to check your temperature too. When helping yourself to the buffet you are provided with gloves. We went all inclusive and the food was absolutely delicious can’t fault it definitely something for everyone! There is also a snack bar by the pool were you can get sandwiches, hotdogs and burgers. The drinks in the hotel were amazing especially the cocktails! Sun beds aren’t a problem! I always find that when your abroad your always fighting over sun beds but definitely not here! There are so many sun beds there’s no need to reserve. Really good location outside the hotel there are plenty of shops & restaurants the food is amazing. We took the bus to Rhodes Old Town the bus stop is right outside the hotel, it took about an hour this was €3.90 I would highly recommend going into the town we ended up getting a taxi back to the hotel this was €35 and took about half an hour. The staff at the hotel will literally do anything for you they never stop! They work so hard making sure your ok and getting you stocked up on drinks. I would highly recommend this hotel especially after this year you really do feel 100% safe. Got back from staying at the residence at Atlantica Imperial resort last week and have to say it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. This is a long review. But hope it gives you a good insight. We upgraded to a red carpet duplex deluxe suite with swim up which is located in a separate building across the road from the main hotel. I can't stress enough if you can afford the upgrade. Do it . You won't be disappointed. We were met in reception with a glass of fizz then taken over to the residence hotel to check in. Our room was spotlessly clean. Cleaned every 2 days by housekeeping and clean sheets / towels/ robes provided. Mini bar also stocked every 2 days. We stayed on a half board basis and ate breakfast in the blue bay restaurant exclusive to red carpet guests. Amazing service day in and day out. Lovely selection of hot and cold food options cereals/yoghurt/fruit/pastries. A mask and plastic gloves were provided for you to collect your food from the buffet. Which was no bother at all. The only time you are required to wear a mask is in the restaurant areas, lifts and main parts of the hotel. The hotel were extremely flexible and let us swap our dinner for lunch each day at the hotel. We chose not to dine at the buffet as we prefer a light snack lunch times. The hotel let us swap to have snacks from the snack bar in the main hotel across the road or from the fridge at the bar at the residence bar. In the fridge at the residence it's just cold items like baguettes/wraps/fruit/salad/yoghurt. From the snack bar in the main hotel there was hotdogs/burgers/baguettes/salad/fruit/gyros etc and everything was really tasty. We would pop across get it then bring it back to the residence to enjoy where filitsa the absolutely wonderful bar lady would look after us bringing us drinks and cutlery etc. She was an absolute diamond and looked after us all week. Nothing was too much trouble and you can genuinely tell she loves her job. Always chatting to people and getting to know them. I'm currently 5 months pregnant and she was always checking on me making sure I was ok,had everything I need and that I was well hydrated. We didn't have to move off our sunbed . Filitsa was always there ready. What a wonderful lady. We miss you already ! So a big shout out to you. For dinner we didn't eat in the hotel at all so I can't comment on this. We walked up the road each night to the local tavernas. All wonderful and reasonably priced. The portions are absolutely huge. We also found 2 restaurants hidden away down by the water away from the main stretch of restaurants. One was called seafood limanaki. google map it. You won't be disappointed. Both with mamzing views and serving the most amazing fish you've ever tasted. A must try. We did try and get a sunbed at the beach in the main part of the hotel one day. But everything was taken. There really isn't alot of sunbeds for the amount of people as it's a small beach. And we are not the type of people to get up early and reserve beds so we didn't go back. However we made good use of the upgrade we had chosen at the residence and used our swim up room ever day. It was fabulous. We would have breakfast then use our swim up til lunch time as sun would normally be moving off our balcony by then. After lunch we would use the main pool. There was never any worry about getting a sun bed as I guess alot of people make use of their swim up rooms. They also have nice bean bag style sunbeds by the pool which are so comfortable. There is a little supermarket a stone's throw from the hotel and we bought more bottled water as that's all I drank really being pregnant and a few beers to have on our balcony really cheap and handy . The staff in this hotel are amazing and really make your stay more comfortable Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is spotlessly clean including toilets and public areas. In my personal opinion on what I saw of the main part of the hotel i didn't feel it was 5 star . But the residence part definitely 100% is. I would totally book a red carpet room you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be returning at some point and I'll be recommending it to my friends and family.
