We had a room with a view of Korcula Town. The room was comfortable and clean. Food was Ok but there are better options in town. I never used the pool, and wish they had towel service and more chairs out by the water. Overall we would stay here again because staff was friendly, it was an easy 10 min nice walk into town and the room was great.
Must see place if in Croatia

We were on holiday in Croatia and spent one week on Korcula island and stayed in the hotel Liburna, lovely hotel, breakfast was very good with a great choice, entertainment in the hotel was mostly non existent but the pub just a short stroll down the beach had great entertainment every night, the hotel itself was very clean, staff very helpful, the island was beautiful and the people were very nice, overall we had a great stay and would come back, the Marco Polo hotel next door had great facilities and we could use these no problem.
Great Junior Suite with fantastic views just away from busy port town

We were ever so slightly dubious having read some of the negative reviews of Hotel Liburna. What we found on arrival was a warm and friendly greeting from reception and a very well equipped duplex junior suite with stunning views of the old town and crystal clear waters. Our upstairs terrace was a great spot for an afternoon drink watching the marine traffic and swimmers in the bay below. Breakfast was suitably extensive and tasty. One of the nicest experiences was returning to the hotel after dinner in town one night to listen to a very talented trio performing on the terrace. We were very pleased with our 4 night stay on Korcula and the Liburna was great place to stay. Highly recommend it. Thanks.
Brilliant hotel in a beautiful location

We have just come back from a week's holiday in The Hotel Liburna. We had a nice room with a balcony overlooking the park/gardens at the back of the hotel. The room was lovely and clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we really had a good time. There was no kettle to make tea but the man on the front desk provided one for us immediately when I asked him about it. The restaurant had a good range of food for breakfast and dinner and the waiting staff were also friendly. The location of this hotel is absolutely magnificient and we really recommend hiring electric bikes so you can see lots of the surrounding area. The sea is clear and blue and good for snorkelling but it's important to take swimming shoes because the beaches are often rocky or pebbly. The hotel has a great sea water swimming pool which is good if you don't fancy braving the rocky beaches and the hotel provides pool towels. We generally preferred to go down to the sea because the views are better from the water's edge. We had a great holiday and would definitely love to go back again.
Lovely hotel, exceptional views

Visited on the last week of the season in October. The hotel is spotlessly clean and modern. If you stay I would recommend paying a little more for a sea view. Staff are very helpful and will help if you need it. Korcula is very pretty, and snorkeling is a must here. The small medieval town is beautiful. As we came late in the season there was not an awful lot to do. Booked as a relaxation break it was the perfect break for me. The transfer from the airport was over 4 hours, so please bear this in mind when booking. There is a ferry journey as well as the bus journey. The rooms are clean modern full air-conditioning, have a fridge and good beds. There is no kettle, which I have to say I really missed. The downside to this accommodation was the food. We stayed half board. The breakfast was very good, but evening meal can only be described as woeful. As a fellow holiday maker said, you won't starve... But what is offered is warm. I think that is it really, not piping hot warm and grey and a little bit uninspiring. If they got the food sorted and provided a kettle /tae coffee this hotel in my mind would be 5 stars
