    The Westin Langkawi is a great resort. We stayed here a few years ago and it was interesting to see that the hotel still is first class. It is situated near Kuah town. Our room was facing both the pool and the ocean and had a great balcony. Beds were very comfortable and it seemed to be newly renovated. Since we are Bonvoy members we were offered special check in but it is worth noting that staff were very efficient and friendly so check in at the ordinary counter is just as good. Overall we want to note that all staff members including Ms Melissa were fantastic. There are two restaurants and two bars in the hotel. One restaurant was closed due to renovation. The breakfast was excellent and offered all that you would want for breakfast. The main restaurant offered international as well as local food. We think that the quality on the local malay food could be improved. We found that the best quality food was offered at the Tide. The Tide is situated close to the beach. The beach is very good and has been greatly improved since we last visited the hotel. It is cleaned every day and have comfortable sunbeds. The water is ok but it is worth noting that most ferrys to and from Kuah passes by. Kuah ferry habour and yacht club is within walking distance. Here you can do some shopping and visit the large eagle statue. Next to the hotel a new hotel has been built. St Regis hotel is situated at the far end of the beach and offers a good restaurant and is cooperating with Westin. A curiosities are the monkies that lives in the area. They sometimes wander around on the balconies. They are not aggressive but you should not feed them. WiFi is working excellent all over the resorts premises. Due to the Covid-19 there were not so many guests but all staff still made our stay a memorable one.

    This is a great hotel in a wonderfull location. All the staff and I mean all the staff are great from cleaning to all members of the front desk highly recommended. As we left things re world crisis had a bit of an impact but certainly had no bearings on the holiday. Near to some restaurants and bars as very pricey drinks in hotel. Loved every minute

    I'm so thankful for Siva the Duty Manager, he help us check on my flight status details and make us convenient to get the information needed, thank you Siva. And Westin Langkawi was awesome had a very nice view as well. All the other staffs were nice too, hope to come here again.

    I was there for my friends wedding. Very relaxed! I really appreciated all services from hotel staff! I totally had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much!! Also I enjoyed to walk along beach area from St.Regis to Westin. Very recommended to take a walk there!

    This is our 5th time to langkawi island and the Westin resort and spa Every time it gets better From the staff to facility can’t fault anything Special thanks to Fadzil Hassan Emmy zuirami and all the lovely ladies at reception to house keeping and Sam from breakfast and all the staff at breakfast dinner and drinks at taste and breeze for a memorable 7 nights Highly recommend Westin
