Titanic Beach & Resort Hotel

The hotel itself is beautiful. Real luxury. The place is massive with several bars, shops and a huge dining area. The porter took our bags on arrival which was a nice touch. Rooms are lovely - with all the touches you might need including a mini bar that has still water, sparkling water, cola and beer. Room service comes at an additional charge. There’s robes and slippers in the room. The safety deposit box is free and there is a hairdryer. It’s not very good so I advise taking your own. Meal times were fab. Plenty of selection. Even very plain food for those on diets. The deserts were particularly nice. Plenty of choice and the baklava was excellent. The waiters bring your drinks to your table which is lovely. The gin and vodka on the all inclusive is Gilbey’s - wasn’t mad keen as it was Schweppes tonic. I would be a diva and take my own next time! The rum is Havana Club 3 which is superb. And there’s a great selection of cocktails. The wine is fine and the Turkish beer is lovely. The bar staff were a bit lack lustre to be honest. The waiters and waitresses were friendly. The fitness suite, indoor pool, sauna, steam room and ice bar are included in your stay. Disappointing that all the pools (with the exception of the baby one) is all one depth. 1.40m is too deep for my 8-year old. The water was lovely and warm and there are jacuzzis are fab. We were later down to the outdoor pool and couldn’t a sun lounger. Round the pool area was very slippy. The Olympic swimming pool was quieter. The vitamin bar has smoothies at the indoor pool. Spa treatments were extra. I didn’t get any but a friend had a Turkish bath and it was around €90 I think. The beach was lovely with a little stand for water, tea and coffee. Some added beers here would’ve been good. The beach bar was opening the day we were leaving. Most of the areas in the hotel complex were closed as it was off season but it all looked fab! Especially the swim up rooms! There’s a strip outside the hotel with lots of shops. Most deal in Euros. These are a must if you like your trainers, hoodies and t-shirts. We had Lira to take with us and most shops etc changed the Euro price to Lira. I would take a mix next time. Euro for the shops and Lira for tipping. Special mention to the cleaning staff who kept the hotel spotless with an attendant at the toilets every night. Must say thank you to the lady called Huri who went above and beyond! And also if you like your football you will get a treat spotting all the teams there to train! There were loads! I would highly recommend this hotel despite my one or two wee gripes. And I will definitely visit Turkey again!

Visited for a quick getaway before we'd even heard of Covid19 back in February. Beautiful hotel, food was good, great accomodation and wonderful staff. Big shout out to Mario the hotels guest relations manager, friendly guy who sold us a couple of speciality dining evenings for which there is an additional charge. We did the turkish evening complete with belly dancer and live band. Our favourite though was a visit to the Mardan Palace Lara, a sister hotel of the Titanic, to eat in their fish restaurant. We were taken by taxi, upon arrival had a wander around and all I can say is no wonder they named it a palace, felt seriously underdressed! We were met later and taken to the restaurant which is underground and has an aquarium all round the seated area. Food was sublime , as was the service. Highly recommend you visit. On the downside there isn't much close by and we like eating out at local restaurants in the evening but that wasn't an option here. However if you're the type that don't want to leave the hotel grounds, this is for you. Fabulous.
