Golden Nugget Las Vegas

We stayed here for 4 nights for my daughter 18th birthday. Housekeeping never came to our room once. We never got a clean towel, there was dog food in our room on the floor from them not vacuuming from the people who stayed before us. ( I didn't know we were even in a pet friendly room) never picked up our garbage for 4 days (and all we were doing is eating out, garbage was piled up in the corner). We had no toliet paper refill. Everyday we were chasing housekeeping down for things. I decorated very classy and had FOUR BALLOONS that had half dollar size cray paper in them. I took decor down and my daughter popped the FOUR balloons. There was cray paper on the floor and they charged us a $200 Cleaning Fee. Which is absolutely crazy. They should be vacuuming the rooms anyway and to charge us to vacuum is unacceptable. When I called and spoke with KEVIN the Mgr on duty he was very short with me and said they couldn't rent the room out that night b/c it had to be deep cleaned and disinfected. (FROM CRAY PAPER) I asked to see proof that the room was not rented and he said that there is internal info on there he cant show me. Then got upset with me b/c he was clearly lying to me, no one has to disinfect and deep clean b/c of cray paper. He said he would refund me $100 take it or leave it and hung up on me. I called 2 days later and spoke with Richard in a department that handles only issues like this (so this must happen often if there is a department for this) He said he had to look into it and call me back. Now its been 2 more days and no call back. Take pics of room before and after stay here or they will scam you out money. Its Covid they should be cleaning extra anyway. And to get charged $200 for 5 min extra vacuuming and they never had to clean a room for 4 days but charge us $200. Extremely pissed and we will never go back there again. Management is awful. Happy Birthday to my daughter! Cant even pop a balloon for her birthday. I've cleaned rooms before and some horrible ones at that and we never charged a $200 fee. Upgraded to a ‘Corner Suite with Panoramic Views’. The only difference in this room compared to others in this tower is an extra window looking over rooftops. Don’t waste your money! Sooooo disappointing! TV does not work! No luggage rack. No tissue. No soap dish. Makeup mirror is broken. Will not light up. No blanket. Only a sheet on the bed. Ridiculously bad lighting. Can’t see in the bathroom or the main room. Bulbs missing from light fixtures. Absolutely no where to charge a phone, tablet or computer except the bathroom! Really? This place is so completely outdated! I’ve been waiting over an hour for a manager to call me back regarding my issues. I was told I can come back down stairs and wait in line to speak with the manager. Seriously? It took over an hour to check into this hell hole! Never ever will we stay here again! This hotel & casino has gone to hell. Honestly it doesn’t even deserve the mandatory one star to leave the review. Absolutely disgusting. Not just the hotel and the casino but also the staff. Extremely rude.
