Hotel Creta Princess Aquapark & Spa

An amazing family environment, a very clean hotel, perfect for relaxation with a huge variety of food to suit all tastes. The staff was exceptional, especially Mrs. Effie in the dining area. Would definitely recommend!!!

We travelled to crete with many concerns and worries as our daughter Sienna has multiple food allergies and this is always a scary time for us. We had a nightmare flight where oxygen was needed to help our daughter with reaction and we worried all the way to the hotel. When we arrived we spoke with the manager about our daughters issues and he arranged a meeting with restaurant manager Mrs Effie and Takis the head chef. Effie and Takis became the people who made our holiday the best holiday we have had. Nothing was too much to ask and Sienna had her own menu created and anything she wanted both Effie and Takis made happen. Without both of them we would not have been able to enjoy all the other amazing facilities. Thank you Effie and Takis you are both amazing and Sienna still remembers you. Anyone with allergy concerns this is the hotel for you!

The first “bungalow” we were given had a very musty smell and had a double bed and two singles (which we didn’t need) against the walls. It was crowded and dark and I just couldn’t have stayed in it a week without becoming thoroughly depressed. I returned to reception and was moved to a twin room (bungalow) with a much brighter outlook and from then on we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff and we had a great time. Some of the gym equipment doesn’t work and needs attention. There are plenty of comfy sunbeds and you get a pool towel every 3 days. There are also sunbeds on the beach which is right behind the hotel - perfect setting. Stony beach - take dive shoes. The breakfast was adequate - all the food is buffet style and the plates aren’t hot. We always enjoyed the lunches and the rose wine. The evening dinners had plenty of choice but the red wine is chilled. There are a couple of “quiet” areas for dining. Children should not be allowed into these areas please. The Asian restaurant was a change but again was buffet style The entertainment was really good but the sound system in there isn’t brilliant. The pools are very clean but cold! And we enjoyed the aqua aerobics every day although dan’s class was best! All the entertainment team were great and worked really hard. Loved the aqua slides too. There’s a bus stop right outside and you can get to and from chania easily - lovely old town. Tennis courts, crazy golf etc. This place is perfect for families and couples alike. The drinks aren’t “premium” but the wine was nice.
