This is a nice hotel with nice staff, it is a beach front hotel. Rooms are clean and staff are helpful. Harriett is a lovely lady with excellent customer service, very attentive with a lovely big warm smile. Nothing was too much for the staff. The hotel dies get busy and your hard pushed to get an umberella for some shade in the blistering heat, and the same ppl claim the sane seats and loungers everyday as if they own them. They leave their towels all day an go away and it makes it difficukt to find a seat which is off putting and selfish. The bar can get very rowdy as ppl are drinking beers & rum from 9am all day. The buffet breakfast is pretty good with a nice selection to suit all tastes. I enjoyed my stay but the whole hogging the seats and sunbeds all day put me off to be honest as its a struggled to find somewhere to relax as the beach can be quite small with the tide in. All in all a nice hotel but really busy busy..and watch out for the security guys they stare at you an try to chat you up at every opportunity, they are preditors! And whilst your trying to sunbathe in peace an also slip their fone number to you whilst carrying your bags to the room, which I found to be very Rude.. 'ROGER" ..disgusting to assume ppl are on holiday to entertain them! Damn cheek. Just a warning for the ladies.

We recently spent 3 weeks in this hotel for a 70th birthday celebration the staff went out their way to decorate room with banners and ballooons and hotel left a bottle of fizz with their compliments the staff were so friendly and helpful. All in all we had a great time.Thank you.

I'd heard such good things about this hotel prior to booking and all I can say is, they were right! This hotel has such a family feel about it from the bar staff, the cleaners, security....everyone. Even the guy doing maintenance one day was keen to tell us where we needed to go and what we shouldn't miss (Oistins….we didn't). We didn't want to visit Barbados and go All Inclusive as we didn't want to be 'tied' to the hotel and so glad we didn't. Jump on a 'beep beep' outside the hotel and go anywhere between there and Bridgetown for $3.50 BBD so no end of bars/restaurants to visit. Spend as much or as little as you want (food portions are big and drink measures are generous and happy hours plentiful!). We WILL be back. Oh, and if you like rum, 1.75l of Mount Gay in the supermarket was $55 BBD!!
Charming hotel on a stunning beach

I'll be honest and say when we first arrived the area didn't look the most appealing from the front of the hotel. However once inside we were pleasantly surprised. We were given a warm welcome and directed to our room. The beachfront setting couldn't be more idylic and it was so relaxing just enjoying the view. The food was good but l think the dessert menu could become a little boring if you were here for more than a week. Staff were very friendly and it felt very safe. We hired a car and explored the island which l would encourage others to do. We paid extra for the departure beach, next time l don't think we would as it's actually further away from the airport than we were. We look forward to returning and can understand why so many do!

Had a lovely stay here. Loads of positives. Our room opening on to the long pool was large and we had our own sun beds and patio area too. Bed very comfy, shower great. Small kitchenette was great too. The beach is simply glorious. Plenty of sun beds and shade if required round the main pool too. Ate at the restaurant on lunchtime and it was good value. The bar on an evening doesn’t have much ambience which is a real shame as the setting is beautiful but it’s reminiscent of a canteen with too bright lights. Some fairy lights or candles would make a huge difference. The hotel is a bit out of things with only one, in our opinion poor, Chinese restaurant close by but it’s within a 25 min walk of Oistins Fish Fry, 20 mins to the supermarket and there are ZR minibuses or regular buses from the bus stop just outside. Takes about 5-10 mins to the Gap for a much bigger choice of bars and restaurants. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if the opportunity arose and the price was right.
