Novotel New York

We stayed here over new year's recently, excited to return having stayed here 12 years ago. Sadly the service of the reception staff was very disappointing, most were rude. We hadn't experienced such bad service in other Accor hotels or other hotels - we travel extensively. The only positives of this hotel was the Concierge staff member on 12/30 evening. Housekeeping & staff on the Street level floor were all pleasant. But we won't be staying at this hotel again. There are other equivalent hotels in the area with far superior service.

Good evening, My wife and I stayed at your hotel in Times Square this New Year’s Eve. I just wanted to pass along just how incredibly satisfied and honored we were to stay with you. My wife and I have taken many trips to your hotel and it seems like every visit is better than the previous. It all started 2014 for our first trip to your hotel on Christmas Eve and we enjoyed the view from your magnificent rooftop lounge. The following year we continued our NYC Christmas Eve tradition and I asked my BEAUTIFUL wife to mary me. Since then, we have stayed several times for birthdays, Christmas Eve’s, and hosting family from all over the country. This year we decided to bring in the new decade in style and reserve a room at your hotel. From the moment we entered the hotel we were welcomed with open arms and the girl at the front desk (Stella) recognized us from our recent Christmas Eve visit. Stella was amazing and and catered to our every need and want and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything and more. She was able to upgrade our room to one with a times square view and made sure we were enrolled in your rewards program. I grew up in the tri-state area but my wife, being an Indiana girl, we decided to do the full blown NYE Times Square experience. THANK YOU for making it an incredible and once in a lifetime experience. We could not have been happier. The memories we made that night will last us forever. Please forward our thanks and appreciation to your staff and especially Stella. We obviously will be visiting again, as we do multiple times per year, and will continue our tradition and spend Christmas Eve with you guys in 2020. We hope Stella is there at the front desk to greet us with her warm inviting smile, but understand if you want to give her off for the holiday ;)

Absolutely LOVED this hotel when I was there in December! Great location, rooms are very clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful, and I couldn’t say enough about the bar/restaurant Supernova! The drinks, food, and view are amazing!!! My Mom and I go to NYC every year for my birthday and I think we finally found our hotel every year from now on...they also made my 40th that more special. Can’t wait to go back in December ❤️❤️
