A quiet setting and fabulous sunset views – just a couple of reasons people check in here, time and again.
This place is in a tranquil spot, below the small village of Kissonerga. It’s right by the shore, with steps leading to a little sheltered cove. Paphos and Coral Bay are a short drive away – about 10 to 15 minutes.
There’s a big pool here, and a restaurant that lays on international spreads. Activity-wise, the selection includes tennis and archery. Plus, the hotel has its own bowling green.

We would return
The hotel is spotless, the staff friendly and obliging and the location is great. The sunsets were beautiful. We were here a week on an all inclusive basis and we were happy with what we paid and what we got. The food was limited compared to other hotels we have been to, but there was more than enough to keep us well fed and happy. As another review said, better to have a few dishes done well than lots of dishes done not so well. The hotel has a small public beach right next to it with steps that lead into the water on 2 sides. There is only a tiny area of sand so very limited if you have children. There was a lifeguard on duty. Sunbeds are 2.5 euros each a day. There is a little cafe there too. The hotel has a little shop that had English newspapers. We would return to the hotel but would say it is not one for families.More
We visited the hotel on the recommendation of a friend of my sister in law who lives on Cyprus and we weren't disappointed. The reception team were helpful . Room was clean . The pool area does get busy with bed/towel blockers but if you don't mind not over looking the pool the hotel has plenty of beds around the grounds over looking the small beach and bay. The breakfast was a buffet with a selection of breakfast items. At dinner times not a vast selection but never went hungry ( thank heavens for puddings).we were staying in a half board basis and on the few occasions we stayed at hotel for lunch we felt we were 2nd class citizens for wanting lunch and wanting to pay cash rather than charging to our room. Over all the I think the hotel is better suited to couples rather than families . We are Hoping to return next year and wouldn't have any problems staying at hotel.More
Decent hotel for retired visitors but naff hotel for Foodies!
Pros: Family run hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Clean environment, our room was kept spotless. Comfy beds and pillows. Fantastic sea views from balcony and amazing sunsets. All guests were friendly and polite. Reasonable tasting house wine at lunch/dinner. Lovely bay with a tiny beach of soft sand. Sea water warm in September and easy to swim in. Bay a very short walk from grounds of Hotel. Gardens in the grounds well kept. Cons: The major drawback of this hotel is without doubt the food! Reasons are as follows: Breakfast... we generally look forward to having breakfast on holiday but sadly not at the Queen's. First of all the food was cold and quite honestly diabolical. (The toast wasn't bad as it was hot if you ate it straight away). The coffee was from a machine and was quite hideous. The eggs were fried but seemed kind of boiled as they sat in a tray under a lamp, swimming in fat. The chairs inside the breakfast room were filthy and so chose to eat in the outside area. Lunch: Lunch was marginally better than breakfast if you base it around salads. However there was no quality cold meat or fish to have with your salad. Desserts were exactly the same every day and tasted the same... bland. Dinner: At dinner we actually got a tablecloth on our table and the dining area was reasonably presented. Food was ok but should have been warmer. The Room: No bathroom toiletries, only a pump dispenser of soap on wall. The safe was tiny and a bit antiquated. No fridge in room unless you pay approx. 40 euros a week! Sun loungers: Quite old and rather uncomfortable. No cushioning at all and if you have a bad back forget it. Beach Towels: These cost 2 and half euros per towel with no refund when you return them. If you wanted to change them at any point you would be charged again. We have never come across this before and we have travelled extensively.More
Great family run hotel
Spent 10 days at the Queens Bay Hotel 27th September. What a fantastic time we had, we wanted to chill out and that is exactly what we did. Sea view room with spectacular views of sunset. Rooms cleaned very well, safe 15€ for stay,. Food, we have had better but there was always something to eat and its better to do a few things well than have lots done badly (returned plump). Staff are amazing really happy and friendly, and guests in hotel made us feel welcome. Joined in with games and swam in pool everyday. The bus service is fantastic so really easy to get out and about. If you want to chill this is the place for you. We will return.More
"Fine , If you really don't want to eat at the hotel".
We have recently returned from this hotel. Holidaying in Late July 2017 We arrived very late in the evening & check in was very quick and welcoming . We were shown the bar & given a stale sandwich each . The pool are was well kept with adequate sun loungers around the pool and garden areas. The location of the hotel is fine , there is a supermarket up the road and a very efficient bus service to Paphos & Coral Bay,which we used. If you do intend to use the bus regularly it is more economical to buy a weekly ticket for 20 euros each. The staff at the hotel are very obliging & are always pleasant & friendly. The head waiters at dinner time do tend to shout very loud when selecting tables for you , this we must admit is not very pleasant if you are trying to eat near them. We have read many reviews & also the comments about the food & we both felt we would be fine because we are not fussy eaters!!. On the first day we noticed people having pizza delivered , which we must admit we both found very extreme. We very soon discovered that this was far from it , Breakfast was acceptable , the same every day .Lunch, Afternoon Snacks & Dinner were not good at all , in fact sometimes looked horrible . One evening we had to eat out after going to Dinner & seeing what was available. This does incur extra expense & a bus journey, We both felt very sorry for the families that have young children , as they were not catered for at all ,We both noticed one family in particular buying their children crisps & biscuits from the shop at the Hotel at every mealtime, for which again we found very extreme. The resort is lovely & there is a very small bay you can swim in but no actual beach to sit on . The evening entertainment wasn't great , there are various singers who actually mime, then miss their cue to start singing again in time with the recording, this provided us with the entertainment in itself . Would we return to Paphos most Definitely . Would we return to this hotel Never.More
