Great value for money
My wife and I stayed here for the first 2 weeks in September. Food was good and Im sure anyone could find something nice to eat. The Japanese restaurant is a nice change from the buffet and well worth a go. Drinks were again good with excellent staff, both at the pool bar and reception bar. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Throughout the hotel it was spotless. All day, everyday, staff were clearing up and cleaning and were all very pleasant. Our only issue were the sunbeds, although we could always get some they were so tightly crammed together it became a little uncomfortable for us, and others. To sum up, great staff, decent food and drinks, and spotlessly clean. Overall when you consider the sort of money you are paying we thought great value.More
What a pleasant place to stay
We concur with Tracey from Sheffield and all the other positive reviews. We emailed the hotel directly when we got home to say the staff were all very pleasant and helpful and that they are a credit to the management of Marylanza. As we usually tour Europe on a motorcycle, it was totally relaxing to stay in such a lovely place for several days with dawn to dusk sunshine. The pool staff do remove towels before 10am! We didn't use the spa facilities but we will next time. Thank you again Marylanza, see you again in the future.More

We stayed here for 11 nights at the beginning of Sept and had a great time here. Upgraded to a golf course suite by the hotel on arrival, the room was a calm oasis away from the hustle and bustle of s busy hotel. The room was spacious and comfy, with good aircon, small kitchen and large lounge. The bedroom was separate and quite large with decent furniture. The safe was enclosed in the wardrobe, and was €24 for our stay. Reception staff were all very friendly and efficient, with no query too much for them. Pool towels were changed here as well at a cost of €1 each. The pool areas were well tended and patrolled, with no towels reserving beds until after 10am, something which needs to be enforced elsewhere. Whilst the pool area was quite compact, there was never any feeling of crowding, except for the day part of the area was being set up for a Tui event. If guests were meant to be part of this, it wasn’t obvious or communicated. However, it was the night the three tenors performed, so the entertainment won out. The entertainment deserves a special mention for the quality and variety of the acts every night. Well done Marylanza. The restaurants were good, with plenty of choice every evening. During the day, either the pool bar or the buffet restaurant were open, so we were well catered for. We didn’t try the speciality ones, so can’t comment. Bar service was always prompt and with a smile, with the lobby bar a great venue at night. Matt the Tui rep was about most days and came to our aid on departure when the private transfer failed to turn up. We had a taxi at the door in five mins. Matt and Tui, take a bow!! Overall, the hotel was very good, with good staff, good location and the mission to put the customers first. I look forward to coming back in the future. More
Just back from a week at the Marylanza what can I say everything was amazing! Couldn't of asked for anymore from the staff they couldn't of been more friendly they were amazing with my one year old daughter. Food was amazing there was so much to choose from. The 18€ a week for the safe was a little steep but that's was the tiny fault for the best first family holiday. The rooms were brilliant and we got a free upgrade to a pool room which was brilliant as when the little one was in bed we could hear the music each night from the pool bar drinks were fab! More
Brilliant Hotel and Spa
This hotel, which is well placed in Las Americas made our holiday as enjoyable as it was. Beautiful pool area, lobby and rooms which are kept spotlessly clean. All rooms are very large with a lounge and well equipped kitchen, and a furnished balcony. Although we never used the kitchen, it is there if you need it. The décor itself is a little dated(dark wood style),and could benefit from modernisation, however this is purely personal taste and does not impact on the quality of the hotel at all. The food throughout the whole week was fantastic, well in line with some 5 star hotels, never had a bad meal, plenty of choice. Also has 2 speciality restaurants,as we did not use them cannot comment. They always looked busy. Nice bar areas in the evening, and a show each night ending around 10.30.Bars will stay open until midnight, unless you wish to walk 10-15 minutes to Las Americas nightlife. Ample sunbeds all day, so no getting up at crack of dawn, but if you a beach lover then 15 mins to beach-8 euro per day for a sunbed.Pool area is relaxing, with activities provided, but not enforced. We payed 80 euros per couple for a weeks use of gym and spa..well worth it as we used spa every day.It is run independent from hotel and open to public.Very well equipped, modern and the hydrotherapy pool is fabulous, one of the best I have been in.Never wanted to leave it. If we ever return to Tenerife, would not hesitate to book here again. Highly recommended.More
