Labranda Bronze Playa Hotel

We had such a fantastic holiday and time in the Bronze Playa hotel in Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas. It is in a spectacular location overlooking the beautiful sandy beaches, dramatic coastline and the bustling Town itself, so many restaurants and cafes. The hotel is the one of the best I've ever stayed in. The staff are so friendly and courteous. We had breakfast in the dining hall every morning. The experience was amazing., what was laid on with regards to food and drink was varied and would cater for any taste. The quality of the breakfast was excellent, to date, It's right up there for breakfast anywhere. The staff keep the place immaculate, so clean, a fragrant baby wipe smell greets you open its front entrance, and the foyer is majestic, the decor was something to behold, it had an art decor effect, it was plush and luxurious. The ambience of the whole place was warm and captivating. The hotel grounds, swimming pool, grass, shrubbery were immaculately kept, the employees are hard working and dedicated despite the hot weather conditions we experienced, 30°Celsius every day for early March. The hotel room was marvellous, it was spotless, very spacious, the beds are so comfortable, and the bathroom facilities plush and modern. The chambermaids provided such a sterling service I tip my hat to them. I would highly recommend this hotel to all interested prospective visitors to Playa del Ingles in Maspalomas, February into March is ideal as it's not too hot but sufficiently warm and sunny, so suits us perfectly. If wanting to travel like us then the location could not be better, as buses are available regularly to Merinaras, another pretty and stylish resort, and to the capital, Las Palmas, wish is well worth going, mainly for the fact of seeing the old quarter and its medieval Cathedral, 'Santa Catalina de Ana' simply catch the bus, the fares are very reasonable to Las Palmas, around 24€ return for two, for a 45 minute journey both ways, on the road outside the hotel. Its a must. Well done Hotel Bronze Playa, Playa del Ingles.

Very disappointing stay. We were not happy with the deluxe broom we booked we were advised we could change but had to pay an extra 50th euros for the privelidge. We did... as we did not want the hassle. The room was fine although overlooked the pool where loud music and bingo games played all day and was very noisy. No relaxing with drinks on the balcony!! The food was absolutely dreadful, we were all invlusive, we only ate breakfast as lunch and dinner was the same every day,... Salad selection, a bit wilted... Fish, goat, rabbit, pork and a very thin cardboard pizza on offer every day. One evening we had turkey...I really don't know what kind of turkey it was but I have never seen the like. It looked like it had been cut from a slab of processed meat. We did complain at the earliest opportunity to Fabian the guest customer service lady. While very sympathetic and a really lovely lady, there was not much she could do for us only take notes and take photos of the food which we complained about. Such a shame the food is a big let down. I had family preparing to holiday there this year and I have had to advise them not to because of the food.. it is to expensive to pay for all inclusive and have to pay to eat out as the food is so bad. We will be contacting Jet2 to pursue the complaints.

We stayed for 2 weeks which included the chaotic sandstorm. Hotel is very clean and modern. A special mention for Jasmine on the animation team who was fantastic. Not very impressed with the food which was very repetitive. Lots of people smoking in dining and leisure area, not very nice. Only one very small bar at night trying to cater to lots of people trying to get their all-inclusive drinks. This would seem to be a ploy to save on the number of drinks given out. On the day after the sandstorm, the hotel staff did a fantastic job of cleaning every conceivable surface inside and out, including the pool and sunbed area so we were not really inconvenienced, so a big thank you to all the staff.
