    The Occidental Margaritas has a win-win location, a five-minute shuttle from the beach and 10-minute walk from the town centre.

    While you can laze the days away here around two pools, this hotel has something for active types, too. There’s a tennis court and a big outdoor training area where a personal trainer will bring out the Arnie in you.

    The highlight of the food scene here is the Aloha 37 à la carte with its open sided, thatched roof eating area. The menu here is grill-based and you’ll find dishes like shrimps and steaks being cooked over the coals.

      You'll find a pair of pools here, which are both surrounded by spacious terraces with sunloungers and parasols. One of the pools is geared up for activities, with water polo and aqua gym taking place there, while the other's perfect for relaxation. There's a pair of bars close by, too.

    • Buffet restaurant

      The hotel lay on a full buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with show-cooking stations, and themed nights taking place three times a week. Please note that gentlemen are required to wear long trousers for dinner, and sandals and sleeveless tops are not permitted.

    • Kids' club

      For 4 to 12 year-olds, with games and activties planned thoughout the day. The hotel-run kids' club has different areas including a playground and loads more to keep the little ones entertained.

    Fantastic first time visit to Gran Canaria

    Travelled from Edinburgh withJet 2 to Gran Canaria to the Occidental Margaritas for 7 nights. We opted for the all inclusive plus option which turned out to be a fantastic choice in a hotel which totally suited us,to relax and enjoy superb food and top notch drinks. All in all great hotel, will definitely return in the future.

    Hotel comfortable Staff friendly Amenities excellent Food and drink ...plentiful and excellent quality. Shuttle bus available but easy walk up sea and a few euros back in taxi Will hopefully return for another early break
    Absolutely excellent hotel in every way

    Two hotels together but both excellent. Two pools, one of which was more for families and aqua classes. The other pool was quieter Fantastic food and great bedroom. Beautiful gardens well kept with lots of trees. Live entertainment every evening. A fair walk from the beach.

    GOOD FROM START TO FINSH WE WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERBODY WHO WANTS TO STAY IN A GREAT HOTEL if you want a relaxing holiday with excellent food and great entertainment you good not stay in a better hotel we where there from 3/3/20 to 15/3/20 Mr ALLAN YOUNG

    The full experience was there: lots of variation in food (also enough vegetarian options), CrossFit training whole day, clean room with comfortable bed and shower and nice staff everywhere :-) we would love to return next year!
