Grecotel White Palace

Just like to say I'm still currently staying at the hotel. From checking in till now I have only praise3for this hotel and especially the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and staff all ways have a smile l have to give much praise to katerina who is mainly in the lobby bar she always knows my drink before I've opened my mouth. Like others have commented on the cleanliness of the hotel is second to none , rooms are cleaned twice daily You definitely get 5☆ treatment here The buffet restaurant is the best I've eaten in as there is so much choice and it varies every night, not the same old thing each night. I have to say if you manage to book any of the other restaurants then you won't be disappointed. If there is a negative then I'd like to have somewhere to go once the entertainment has finished, maybe a night club for those who want to carry on partying. Lol All in all this has been a great birthday treat in a luxurious hotel

If you’re looking for a beautiful 5 star hotel on the island of Crete this has to be one. My friends and I have just returned after spending 2 weeks enjoying all the luxury of this hotel. On arrival ( and we had to check in quite late) we were given a really warm welcome, suitcases were taken to our room and we were given refreshing drinks while we checked in. Where to begin! In our room there was a complimentary bottle of wine, fruit, savoury wraps and sandwiches. Our room was spacious, with fridge, TV, safe, hairdryer, kettle, tea coffee etc. A good size bathroom, very comfortable bed and balcony with table and chairs. The food at this hotel was superb throughout our stay. The choice and variety of dishes etc was phenomenal, all freshly cooked and beautifully presented especially the cold collation and even the nice touch of chefs preparing sushi and specials in the various areas of the buffet. If you wanted a break from helping yourself you could eat in the various restaurants within the hotel. Especially fantastic was the White Restaurant a really fine dining experience and utterly delicious not to mention the exquisite presentation of each course. The Greek, Asian and Italian restaurants were equally good in their own right. We loved them all but just to say you have to book to eat in these so don’t miss out! Room service again couldn’t be faulted, bed changed regularly and towels replaced daily if required including their beach towels. Bins are emptied twice a day, your bedclothes turned back in the evening a and a sweet left on our nighties- what a lovely touch. Bar staff in the main area were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, they were so friendly and fun and very efficient at their jobs. Staff throughout the hotel could not be faulted, nothing again was too much trouble, so friendly and so very professional, we loved them all!! There is a great little shop downstairs, a jewellery shop on the top level as well as a chocolate and cake shop. Here you can browse the delicious home made chocolates and take away whatever meets your fancy all included in your stay. Almost forgot to mention there is a pool and really comfortable sun beds with poolside staff to get you drinks or any of their super snacks. And of course there is the sea and more sun beds if you prefer the beach for the day. To step up into a higher level of luxury there are apartments with their own pools. When it’s time to go your suitcases are collected from your room and put in a safe cupboard by reception until your pickup arrives. The cases are then put on your coach for you, such good service from our lovely porter. As you’ve probably gathered by now we loved every thing and every moment of our stay at The White Palace, the staff deserve a huge pat on the back for all their hard work ( and boy do they work hard!) and for making our stay such a wonderful experience. We are definitely hoping to return next year!!! Thank one and all at The White Palace for making our stay definitely 5 stars and more!!!

Have just returned from a 5 night “Lux Me” all inclusive holiday and had a fantastic time. From the moment you enter reception to the moment you leave you are pampered. The staff were all wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is visually stunning with the white theme evident throughout. The food was wonderful and the choice and variety in the main buffet restaurant was amazing. Loved the breakfast buffet which had anything you could imagine including Sushi! There are several other waiter service restaurants but these get booked up very quickly. We were given a reservation in the Asian restaurant however which is just yards from the sea and which was lovely.They also booked us in for a Greek breakfast in the same place which was amazing. The bus stops at the hotel entrance and they arrange private transfers to and from the airport. Basically I can think of nothing bad to say about this hotel and recommend it wholeheartedly. We shall definitely book another Grecotel in the future.
