Super friendly hotel

Inviting, very clean and tidy hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was great with much to choose from, although a bit uniform are the end of the week. The rooms are efficiently furnished with a balcony and feels spacious. Central and quiet location, everything in the town of Rhodes is within walking-distance.

Stayed here for a week in October for my husbands birthday. Nice, clean, comfortable room and the fridge was a bonus. Staff, friendly and helpful especially the girls on reception who are an asset to the hotel.Hotel in a great location to all amenities and the Old Town. Breakfast was good and had all that we required. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Pool and bar looked nice although we didn't use them ourselves.

We stayed at this hotel for five days recently. The room was adequate, large and had a very comfy bed.We overlooked the Swimmimg pool and had a balcony which was wonderful to sit out on. Especially on a October morning. We had excellent breakfasts with lots of choice and great tasting food. The staff at reception and in the restaurant were so helpful and polite. The reception staff recommended restaurants, places to visit and arranged specific trips. We were some of the last people in the hotel before they closed for winter. At no time did this affect service, food and helpful advice. Location is excellent only five minutes away from the old town. This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star staff. Well done would recommend to anyone.
Great little hotel!

We have just returned home from a week at the Oktober Downtown Hotel. We absolutely loved this little hotel and it was a perfect location for discovering both the new and old towns of Rhodes and the beach! The 2 girls on reception are an absolute credit to the hotel and made our stay so much easier and happier. They helped recommend restaurants and bars that were local and helped me book a day trip to Lindos and then helped me change the trip to a different date when my partner was ill. They couldn't do enough for you. Our room was spotlessly clean and our maid was brilliant. Always made an effort to speak every morning and did a great job! The only thing we didn't like was that our room flooded when we used the shower however we just moved the angle of the shower head and the maid gave us an extra towel to block the water from flooding the rest of the bathroom and this stopped the problem straight away. Bed was massive and really comfy. We had a pool view room so was lovely to sit out on our balcony and enjoy the sunshine and because we looked out over the pool it was nice and quiet also. Breakfast had plenty of options so depending on whether you fancied a warm breakfast or a cold breakfast there was always something for you to choose from! I want to say a massive thank you to all of the staff, they were so friendly and were just brilliant in general. I have never been in another hotel where I have felt as welcome before in my life and these are some of the friendliest hotel staff I have ever known after all the years of travelling I have done. I would recommend hiring a bike from reception and heading off to explore the town that way, it was only 7Euros for the day and we thoroughly enjoyed it and would have definitely done it again had we had a little more time on our hands! All in all we had an amazing stay at this hotel and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a hotel with an amazing location in Rhodes Town. If we ever decide to come back to Rhodes we will without a doubt be back!!! :)
Nice hotel but definitely not perfect!

We stayed for two nights in September, we arrived late and were checked in by a nice gent. When we got into the room I noticed we were over looking the road but i had booked and paid more for a pool view room. We went down to reception and the man just shrugged and said nothing I can do till tomorrow. Annoying really when you have just arrived on holiday. That night we slept very badly - the noise from all of the mopeds are really loud. I would not recommend those rooms because of the noise. The hotel rooms were nice and clean and the reception area was lovely too. The next day we had to speak to the manager and he got us into a pool view room. Basically when you book through a booking.com it doesn't tell them the room type you book so be careful. We did have to ask what they were going to do about the fact we paid extra the first night and the lady on reception said we could take a drink to counteract the difference in price. We did sleep better in the pool view rooms as they face away from the main road. Overall this is good for a cheap stay and Rhodes is a lovely place to explore. Lots of the sun-beds were broken and the chair on our balcony was also in a shocking state so some money should be spent on modernising. I would also put some plant pots around the pool as it is all very minimal. The breakfast was pleasant.
