    This is a peaceful retreat with a great pool and easy access to the centre of Sorrento.

    This family-run place is a tucked-away retreat surrounded by orange and lemon trees, yet Sorrento’s cafés, shops and restaurants are only 10 minutes’ walk away.

    There’s a small pool with a hydro-massage section. The pool bar serves great Italian food, and the restaurant has a terrace for al fresco breakfasts.

    A nice green oasis, very clean with really friendly staff. Lovely pool area with full and dappled sunshine. We stayed in a room rather than a chalet with lovely wooden shutters we could throw open to a view of the hillside and sunshine every morning. A watch out for those wanting a hotel experience, there is a charge per person for using the sun beds (deck chairs free) and the pool and bar both close at 6:00. The only way to eat in the evening is to walk down the hill in to town. Another word of warning to those with young children, the road is steep, winding and has no pavement. The walk in to the centre of town and it’s fabulous atmosphere is about 10 minutes but at least the return walk helps to burn some of the calories consumed whilst there.

    Spent 5 nights in one of the cottages at Villaggio Verde with my two teenage boys. It was nice and private, and we enjoyed that it was a little away from hustle and bustle of downtown. The walk is just 5 minutes and there are two little supermarkets on the way. There is a fridge and a kitchenette if you want to do your own cooking, and it was nice to have a separate bedroom in addition to the twin 'living room', which could be closed off by a curtain. However, it is not very big and feels a bit dark and closed in with the wooden walls and small windows. The towels have seen better days. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the pool but were surprised that there is a fee for using the sun beds. The air condition worked perfectly but was not needed during our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful in every way.

    We just spent 10 days in this lovely little oasis, in a very rustic cabin, complete with veranda. We found the pool area to be very peaceful. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Ideally located 10mins walk downhill to the main square. Would recommend staying here.

    We stayed here in July for a family wedding and have nothing but praise for the accommodation and the staff. It is run superbly and was immaculately clean. We had a 2 bedroom cabin, which was cosy and different to a hotel room. It was full of character! Bedroom and bathroom were a good size and had a small kitchenette as well. It met all our needs. AC as well which was needed in July!! Lovely outside area as well with the lemon and orange trees (just take plenty of mosquito spray!!) Pool area - is small but lovely. The strict rules when entering and swimming ensure that it is kept well. The little restaurant poolside does fabulous food at a very reasonable price and the staff are so friendly. Location is about 1km for the centre of Sorrento, and is on a hill. Taxi cost around €17. Thank you to Antionette and her team for making our few days in Sorrento great!

    Stayed here for our first visit in Italy. Staff are very helpfull and friendly, pool was lovely and really clean cabins were air conditioned, pretty basic and beds made every day. Yes it could do with some updating but I would rather have peace and quiet than a noisy town hotel. I would definately stay here again.
