We arrived into Strasbourg by train and the hotel is less that a 5 minute walk away.
My comments about this hotel, when we stayed here 9 years ago, was that it felt a little run down.
Not now. Our room was bright, modern and clean.
If anything the room was a little too warm but other than no I have no complaints...

It is an old hotel located in a very strategic location near by the train station. It is very clean and descent, but the rooms are quite old and they dont have enough plugs. Breakfast is excellent and the stuff is helpful and very polite. The only thing that bothered us is that the alarm rung on middlenight. This moderately priced hotel is conveniently located across the street from the rail station. The hotel was built in 1950, with rooms refreshed in 2013 - according to the Internet (which could be wrong). We stayed for two nights in a room that didnt appear to benefit from a substantial room update. Some rooms items were damaged and/or displayed wear. The room smelt musty when we walked in, the bathroom smelt mouldy. within minutes my husband had been bitten on his legs and arms we opened the windows to see if that would help the smell but it didnt and with my husband being bitten it was impossible to stay. location was near the rail station. I was taking the Lufthansa bus to/from FRA Several restaurants nearby which was convenient. Breakfast was at a great time and was perfect. Room was small but comfortable. Excellent staff. Highly recommend...
