Pay monthly by direct debit – £0 deposits

Paying for your next trip just got easier thanks to direct debit payment plans. This option means you don’t have to pay for your next holiday all in one go – you can even opt for a £0 deposit – another reason to get it booked early.

Once you’ve picked your perfect getaway, hit the book button and set up your direct debit. Your future payments will be calculated and you’ll see your payment schedule before you confirm. It’ll be spread across at least three payments – the last one will be due 14 weeks before your holiday starts. To help you plan your spending even more, you can pick what day of the month your payments come out.

Some extras and upgrades will still need to be paid for straight away, and you’ll need to book a trip at least six months in advance to be eligible for direct debit. Direct debit is only available on trips that include a flight with TUI Airways. Just so you know, you can’t pay via direct debit if you’ve called us to book. T&Cs apply*

If you’ve got any other questions, you can find all the answers on our FAQ page.

*Direct debit T&Cs

If you pay by direct debit, we’ll provide you with a confirmation, setting out the payment amounts and due dates by which these payments will need to be made by you.

The bank account from which the direct debit payments are to be taken must be in the name of the lead passenger on the booking.

In the event of two failed attempts to collect any direct debit payment, we’ll cancel the direct debit mandate and you’ll be required to make payment by another method.

If this happens, you’ll need to pay the balance due 12 weeks before you travel.

If you cancel your direct debit, you must inform us promptly so we can arrange an alternative payment method with you.

The full deposit amounts are:

£200 per person for short-haul beach holidays

£200 per person for mid-haul beach holidays

£250 per person for long-haul beach holidays

You’ll be required to pay upfront for any insurance you’ve taken out and may be required to pay upfront certain accommodation. In all circumstances, our cancellation charges will apply.

As you are paying by direct debit, you’ll make your final payment 14 weeks before your holiday is due to start – you’ll see your full payment schedule when you book.

Our standard cancellation charges will apply and if you’ve not made enough direct debit payments at the time you cancel, you’ll need to pay us any balance due. If you’ve paid more than the amount due under our cancellation charges at the time of cancellation, we’ll refund you any difference.

If you make changes to your booking, our standard amendment fees will apply and the following scenarios could happen:

Increased holiday cost

If there are any fees due immediately, such as the amendment fee, you’ll need to pay them at the point the amendment is made. Any other additional costs that are due to be paid at the final balance date will be added to your direct debit schedule and the monthly payments will be recalculated.

Reduced holiday cost

Your direct debit schedule will be updated and the monthly payments will be reduced to reflect the new balance.

Later departure date

If you move your holiday to a later date, your direct debit will still be valid and the monthly payments will recalculate.

Closer departure date

If you move your holiday to a closer date, then your direct debit might not be valid and you may be required to pay the full balance of the holiday, dependent on when the new departure date is.

Pay in instalments with a low deposit

With a small upfront payment, you can spread the cost of your holiday and get your next getaway locked in.

Find your perfect break and book it straight away with a partial deposit. Your booking will be completely secure and the rest of your deposit won’t be due until 4-12 weeks later. You’ll see your payment schedule when you book. You can then spread further payments for the rest of the holiday up until 14 weeks before you head off. T&Cs apply*

If approved by PayPal, you’ll pay nothing at the point of booking and enter a credit agreement with PayPal for the full cost of your trip. PayPal Credit lets you spread the payments over a longer period, so you don’t need to pay it all off before you head out.
