Giardini Naxos holidays plate up plenty of pizzerias, la-di-da lidos and panoramic views of Sicily's number one attraction.
Knockout scenery
Look at a map of Sicily and you’ll find Giardini Naxos a thumbprint down the coast from the town of Taormina. This very spot was the site of the first Greek colony on the island. Even now, you can see what caught their eye. Moody Mount Etna makes for quite the backdrop, plus it still works an easy-going fishing village vibe.
Big and beautiful beach
There’s no mistaking it – this place is a seaside resort at heart. It’s got some of the best beaches this side of Sicily. The main one’s got some free space, plus a load of lidos have each cut themselves a slice of the sand-and-pebble pie. You’ll need to fork out a bit for entry, but it includes your sunbed, umbrella and easy access to restaurants. You can also get your frutti di mare fix along the prom just behind.
