Holidays to Loggos – a quiet fishing village on Paxos' east coast – have splendid seafront views and water taxis ready for adventure.
Divine beauty
Ancient rumour has it that the tiny Ionian Island of Paxos was created when Greek god Poseidon struck his trident at nearby Corfu. That drama's long forgotten in Loggos though – this east-coast village couldn't be more peaceful. Think colourful cottages, tree-covered hills and secluded coves carved from rugged cliffs.
Beach-time bliss
Loggos has its own beach, but there are also a few others within walking distance if you fancy a change of scene. Marmari Bay might be one of the more secluded spots, but don't let the calm deceive you – beneath the still sapphire surface these coves are teeming with life.
