WHEN TO GO
Summer sun is pretty much a given in Dalaman. Expect day after day of blue skies, temperatures that top 30˚C and up to 12 hours of sun a day. The weather is warm enough for a spring or autumn escape, too – you’ll still get six or seven hours of sun every day, and the thermometer usually hovers around 25˚C.

Passports and Visas
Your passport will need to be valid for at least 6 months after the date you arrive in Turkey and at least 3 months after the date you leave the country. What’s more, from 1st January 2015, your passport must be valid for 60 days beyond the expiry date of your Turkish visa.
British citizens need a visa to travel to Turkey. You can apply for a visa online at www.evisa.gov.tr before you go. It costs US$20, payable by VISA/Mastercard debit or credit card only. Alternatively you can pay £20 in cash with a new note when you arrive. Please note, if you're arriving in Turkey after 31st December 2014 you will only be able to apply for a visa online.
If you need assistance applying for your visa, we recommend the Travel Visa Company. That said, other suppliers are also available.
