With a quiet cove and epic sunsets, Cala Tarida holidays are the perfect antidote to Ibiza's party-hard heavyweights.

Cute cove

Cala Tarida is the wallflower of Ibiza’s west coast. But that doesn’t mean it brings nothing to the table. It’s got a fine south-facing beach, which means you can expect sunrise-to-sunset sunshine. And when you do want to live it up a little, San Antonio’s only 25 minutes’ drive away.

Playful sands

The beach at Cala Tarida is a sand-and-rock combo. Mini-adventurers will have a field day clambering over the rocks and fishing for crabs in the natural pools. Plus, it just couldn’t help but provide a couple of signature, snow-white beach bars. One of them’s got a pan-Asian menu and you can order drinks from your sunbed.

Sunsets and sundowners

Ibiza is the king of sunsets in the Balearic Islands – and Cala Tarida’s don’t disappoint. The little troupe of seafront bars are perfect for watching the sun sink below the horizon. Or you can watch without the crowds at Es Pujolets nature reserve – just around the bay. If you want to keep the tempo going, hail a cab to San Antonio Town for up-all-night bars and clubs.
