As well as doling out top-drawer neon nightlife, Faliraki holidays harbour a secret historical heavyweight and a family-friendly side.
A please-all place
You’ll find Faliraki on the north-eastern coast of Rhodes. This resort’s known for its neon credentials, and it definitely lives up to the hype – make your way to Bar Street and Club Street, and you’ll see for yourself. But Faliraki has a few tricks up its sleeve, too. Its Blue Flag beach features gently shelving golden sands – it’s fab for families. Plus, if you want to turn the volume down, Anthony Quinn Beach is pin-drop peaceful.
Take action
You don’t have to wait until after sundown to pick up the pace. You can get involved with loads of watersports on the main beach – we’re talking all the classics, like banana boating and windsurfing, as well as adrenaline-pumping paragliding. There’s even an in-water bungee jump, if you really want to raise your heart rate. Greece’s biggest waterpark makes its home here, too. This mammoth maze of chutes, slides and pools sprawls out over a whopping 100,000 square metres.
