Holidays to Kassiopi are a top-notch way to experience Corfu's magnificent scenery, praiseworthy beaches and rich history.

Island launching pad

Perched on the edge of the Ionian Sea, Kassiopi's a lively little corner in the north-east of the Greek island of Corfu. Its bars stay open until the wee hours, and restaurants spill out onto the harbour's promenade. Kassiopi's conveniently located for exploring the rest of the island, too – from Mount Pantokrator and Ipsos' Golden Mile to buzzing Corfu Town.

Head to the capital

Whiz your way down the east coast to Corfu Town, an hour's drive away. As the island's capital, it's got a faster pace than quaint Kassiopi. You can easily spend a full day roaming your way through the labyrinth-like streets, dipping in and out of boutiques and visiting the history, art and archaeological museums.

Beaches galore

Walk less than five minutes from Kassiopi's town centre and you'll reach Kalamionas – a pebble-and-sand shoreline overlooking the bay. It's a Blue Flag award-winning beach with oodles of umbrellas and sunloungers for hire. For something quieter, saunter your way around the peninsula to the tucked-away Pipitou and Bataria beaches, both with a handful of cafés.
